I know you've shared, in your lives and this series of TCP interviews, how challenging it's been to remain in the entertainment industry and to do what you do. But, what you do and how you do it is so necessary. I love to see when the artists that you speak to affirm your greatness, because it's the truth. I'm sure it's a lot to balance with your real life outside of the world of the arts and fantasy, but it is definitely appreciated by those who consume your passion, thoughtfulness and expertise in this particular space. Great Interview! I think what I loved most about the new color purple is how the script gave everyone enough space to shine. There were no egos in their performances. It felt very grounded and sincere. This was a beautiful movie about hope and forgiveness and Fantasia gave the best performance of the year.
