I have come to believe in simulation! but I do find it odd that heaven and hell seem to come into your equation? Surely if you are in a simulation that means that the existence of Man is in a game played by who knows? But humans would not be in control of anything in life so how would the afterlife come into play? Surely in a simulation when the player Of the game you are in decides that it does not need you anymore you die and you go back into the programming section of the computer ( or whatever advanced machine is being Used) and that it? or maybe you go to another simulation game in another universe and so on? let's face it Heaven and hell were invented by the churches and the authorities to keep the people down. and in a simulation they are not needed.

I do not really understand the point about "Escaping the simulation". In Sims4, a "Sim" is a model created within the program. There is no way for it to "escape into reality". It exists within the program code. Same with us if we are simulated. We exist within the simulation, "simulated". We do not have a "reality" that we can escape to. The simulation is our reality.

@@richardkutsera4992 It depends. How are we being simulated? The common thought is through some form of computers, but what if we were a physical form in a controlled environment? What if, for example, we were an advanced form of a toy for what we call billionaires? We could be in a globe on someone's desk. The double slit experiment has literally no relevance to whether the universe is a simulation or not. No cat ever has been both alive or dead at the same time and just because your model says so it doesn't make it true. Models aren't reality and photons aren't particles or waves; they're photons. Just say the word "quantum" enough times and anything sounds sciency.

Here are some fun thoughts. If we're living in a simulation, we may have no idea of knowing what our host "universe" would be made of. In the computer world and in turn simulations, the core of reality is binary code. Binary code is a human creation, what's to say that in the "real" universe, the fundamental building blocks aren't something entirely beyond our current comprehension? Perhaps we are a complex algorithm, or a form of energy patterns operating in a multidimensional realm. Our understanding of physics, matter, and energy is rooted in our simulated experiences and may not apply at all to the universe hosting our simulation. What if concepts like time and space are unique to our simulation and have no equivalent or meaning in the host universe? Our entire understanding of existence is based on the rules programmed into our simulated world. If we could somehow step outside of it, we might find that the laws of physics are entirely different, or perhaps non-existent in the way we understand them. Furthermore, if we are in a simulation, every piece of our identity, consciousness, and perception might be coded. We could ponder on the nature and depth of our 'self'. Are our thoughts, emotions, and actions predetermined by a set code, or is there room for randomness and unpredictability within the boundaries of the simulation? It makes you think about the nature of existence, free will, and reality, and whether there's a possibility to ever perceive or interact with the world beyond our potential simulation. If there's a will, there's a way after all.

If we are coded with free will, is empathy, compassion and love added to control us? Is being good actually the aim or the opposite? Is getting famous or infamous the ulitimte aim or the ultimate sin? Is religion there to free us or control us?

Absolutely, great ideas. Plant medicines that alter consciousness are one way to peer into other dimensional realities that could give us a better sense of our base reality, or at least a sense of what else is programmed in this simulation outside of our regular senses. Something interesting I learned that applies here is that AI cannot become conscious because it is and will always be programmed in binary bits (1's and 0's), just like our entire physical reality is programmed in binary bits. Consciousness resides in the quantum realm, and is programmed in Q-bits (quantum bits) - so rather than each bit having a potential of 2 states (a 1 or a 0), each Q-bit has an infinite potential of states, making consciousness far more complex than we could ever imagine or program into an AI. Bro I just had a thought. If in theory, we were 100% confident that we are living in a simulation, having become entirely self aware about that fact, what would our simulation creators think of that? Would they be frightened? Would they not care? Would they reset us in some way or something? Like imagine if in the video games we humans created, which are simulations in and of themselves, made by us, if the characters became self aware of the fact that they are in a simulation. The AI of the video games have gained sentience. What could they do with their new found sentience? What would we do about it as their creators? To me it would be pretty terrifying if video game characters gained sentience.

I've come to believe this the more I working with creating games. I've been at it for nearly 5 decades now. I have always loved gaming starting very young, everything from running D&D groups to creating worlds with kits and code. The one thing that has always been true is, not only can everything we do and see be easily simulated but the more technology progresses the easier this becomes. From purposely guiding groups to objectives to randomly generating worlds in all their detail. There is always pattern that mathematically makes sense. And most of all these routines become increasingly simplistic. The fact that it could be done is almost enough for me to believe. If we ourselves are super computers designed to be fooled, then even more so ...

No. Having explored the worlds I am currently connected to i can say that we are very far removed any "thing" we might consider a consciousness. There are multiple versions of our lives playing out at once. Our own awareness is partitioned to make this possible, if another consciousness were behind that then it too would have to be split between each individual multiple times and there are billions of us (time is only linear outside of the simulation any time period within the simulation is still a viable reality to live within they are afterall datasets and nothing more.) This would mean splitting an individual mind into trillions of pieces.

A thought that plagues me from time to time is that we are really just the sum of our senses. You do not see with your eyes, feel with your skin, hear with your ears, taste with your tongue; those are sensory devices we invented to send electrical signals to our "Brains" if we even have brains. Our Perceived reality is just electrical signals being interpreted by our program. We have no need to see the entirety of the universe and it would be impossible to do so all at once; so the program that is rendering that portion of the universe in for our senses to observe does not need to show us the universe in it's entirety. Is your front yard there while you are not observing it? Try proving that it is without observing it in any way.

Precisely. I have, many times, expressed that same thought in this way: "You and I both look at an apple and can agree to call it 'Apple' and name its color as 'red'. But what you see and what I see may be (likely are) vastly different." Similarly, those who suffer from Dementia are PERCEIVING the world around them differently than the rest of us. Correct or incorrect, their brain is interpreting the input from their senses in a specific way. We all are, actually.

A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'... My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE... Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.

This video makes the mistake of ignoring the following: - Our minds are an 'impression' we create from the incoming sensations of our eyes, ears, noses, skin and body. - So it is a 'jigsaw puzzle' that we put together. Just as a jigsaw puzzle is a picture of something (it's a simulation) so is our mind. - Therefore we can reasonably say our mind itself is a simulation that we 'live in' - Our brain constantly builds and changes our simulation. Always guessing, making new guess-rules that serve our purposes. - Therefore we can expect to feel as though there is an 'outside' simulation beyond our mind's simulation. - A confusing factor is the existence of VR ◘ It truly provides external, vivid, convincing simulations. ◘ Naturally 'someone' has created the VR, so we comically extrapolate that onto our entire reality (wondering if that might have been 'created' for us to reside in. - But the one operating the big simulation is 'us'.

So, if we are becoming aware that we are in a simulation, where does it put us with the creators, game players, designers? Did they want us to get to a point that we have become aware of the simulation? Will it be game over or there may be a reason to bring us to that point? Maybe, this is all about creating layers of simulations?

The funniest thing about all of this is that even if it were 100% proven we were living in a simulation, nothing would change that much. Some people would probably have a mental breakdown, quit their job and self destruct, but for the majority of humanity, their simulated life would just go on. People are trapped by the limitations of their mind (fear, depression, self doubt, etc.), so I don’t think we’d see more people start pursuing their passions or anything cool like that. It’s kind of mundane tbh.

No, the double slit experiment doesn’t show that observation changes nature. You’re forgetting the most common fact that causation and correlation are not always related. Just because we look at something doesn’t mean that we are the ones that change it. You haven’t put into account that maybe we are like a radio and tuning in to one wavelength of reality at a time. Just like how when you go on KZfaq, you can only watch one video at a time. Have you ever thought about that instead of automatically, jumping to conclusions that we are the ones changing reality. Reality is happening whether you’re around or not. That means we are tuning into some thing that exists. And we can only tune into one wave length at a time.

You didn't cover it here, but one of the clues that we found, doesn't really add up. Nearby supernova explode, and fades over 3 months, while distant supernova fade is exponential in it's time to fade out the further away it is. A computational limitation in the system for distant objects to be experiencing time dilation of this magnitude? It's as if the further away the target is, the slower time travels, which happens to be contrary to known local physics, and no matter the distance, an event such as a supernova should play out the same amount of time due to the laws of thermodynamics. So, if time is moving slower at greater distances, then gravity where we are is lower than at those distances as we have learned that time between the surface of the Earth and even the GPS's orbits have a fraction of time differences where ground time moves slightly faster. If the "constants" were the same across the universe, wouldn't that mean it would be the same all across the entire universe? Also, with this, it says that light travels away from it's source up a gravity well to where we are, and that can cause it to redshift. Shaking the tree to see what falls out- Me.

Biological neural systems are about five orders of magnitude more efficient than technological neural systems. The intelligence of AI depends on both the quantity and quality of the knowledge it is trained on. AI currently is not trained by experience. The data it is trained on are not error-free. A superintelligence uses self-supervised learning from self-generated experiences. It utilizes everything from particles, humans, planets, stars, galaxies, and beyond to experience itself. It is not limited by matter, energy, space, and time. What it lacks are experiences. The participants of any event experience the same event differently. For the experience to be authentic, each participant must have free will and be temporarily unaware that they are playing a role. This superintelligence has error-free experiences from all the participants. For "training" to happen, all experiences are recorded and accessible at any time. There are 8 billion humans on Earth, compared with 2 trillion galaxies in the visible universe. There are several hundred billion suns in each galaxy. This universe is one of countless possible universes.

Observation collapses the wave funtion and gives rise to what we percieve as reality. Since our whole universe is not always observed, only parts of our universe are collapsed into existence at any one time. This makes the universe look like it has cracks or only part of the supposed code is running at one time. This is not the case. This is an effect of the need for observations to collapse the wave function. So does the rest of the universe even exist at all times?

Why would an higher intelligence in a base reality, put so much energy into such an in-depth simulation as our universe? 1) It would confirm or deny that they themselves are in base reality or a simulation. If we wanted to know for certain that we were in a base reality, wouldn’t we in turn, create the most sophisticated simulation possible to study the participants to determine if they can create or manipulate or even understand that they the subjects are in a simulation? Because if they can create a simulation, then someone could create the prior simulation. If they failed to do so, well it would considerable favor base reality.
