Indiana Jones' popularity alway blew my mind. At the time, there was no shortage of adventure films with protagonist dressed exactly like indy, but I guess Indiana jones just does it right. Its just crazy that nobody watches the predecessors of the genre

Temple of doom actually takes place before raiders of the lost ark. Temple takes place on 1935. Raiders is in 1936

In 1917 and 1918 Indy was in WWI, There's a movie about it called The Trenches of Hell.

I think the (DARK HORSE COMICS) industry, should make new stories about (INDIANA JONES). This way if the franchise of the (INDIANA JONES) movies, and shows might get rebooted someday. It can make the other stories, about Professor Jones,, into both a new set of movies, and make a new type of show series as well. That includes doing something, with the short FanStory, titled (INDIANA JONES: IN SPACE). And hopefully make a, four installments set, about that short FanStory idea.

Fun Fact: The Tomb Raider video games originally meant to have a knock off of Indiana Jones as the main protagonist. However, in an effort to remain original, it went with the sex sells route and was replaced with Lara Croft which we all know today. In recent times, the sexual appeal of Lara Croft has been vastly toned down.
