NO THERE IS NOT 3 TIMELINES You claim infinity energy only exists in the 3rd timeline? In Omega Rube/ Alpha Sapphire president stone states that the devon parts in Hoenn were invented using infinity energy and technology from the ultimate weapon 3,000 years ago in Kalos, the weapon that brought about Mega evolution. Yet the Devon parts exist in gen 3s ruby, Sapphire and Emerald... so Infinity Energy and the weapon MUST have existed in these universes too, meaning the Universe Zinnia references to where mega evolution doesn't exist and the war never happened CAN'T be the gen 3 games, meaning that there are not 3 different continuities. The games are potentially all on one continuity, with splits for the different games/ universes along the way, but all potentially in one world or all separate... but definitely not 3 timelines.

Why did you leave the original timeline out of the video? If they've been erased out of the timeline then so is Emmerald and the Battle Frontier because it does not appear in ORAS. You should do your work more properly.

I'm still not convinced that the Timeline is split like that. Sure some of the Remakes (ORAS and USUM) could be/are alternate "what if" timelines, but the main series I'm pretty sure are one linear timeline.

Delta Episode pretty much made a point saying that Mega and non-Mega timelines exist and are separate. Then we have dimension hopping Anabel in Sun and Moon, who came from Emerald in the different timeline.

pretty much actually. the megatimeline has events exclusive to it(pokemon origins and oras),but everything that takes place in gen6 and 7 can happen in the regular timeline(exception:wally is not in the battletree in regular timeline for obvious reasons)...and the games even directly require gen5 xD not even joking,the games literally make clear gen5 happens. and honestly,i still think that oras and x and y have a plothole since appearently megaevolutions are only in kalos until that point and fairypokemon were recently discovered...even tho that makes no sence at all. actually,thinking about it,origins actually supports x and y and goes against oras too,since it is stated that the megastone in that series was from kalos and that the research is still really early

@@toucan9548 The exact origins of Mew have not been revealed by Game Freak yet. My guess is that it came into being after Rayquaza, Groudon & Kyogre shaped the sky, land and sea.

Am sorry, and I don't tend to say this, but this video was a clickbait. Am not only saying that for the title, but at the very beginning it was said that the location of Let's Go was gonna be established at the very end, something that didn't happen. All that was said at the end was that it either replaced FR/LG or its is own universe but nothing was decided.

It's pretty freaking sure that Let's Go is simply part of the Infinity Dimension's R/B/Y with a slight timeline shift. Mina is featured as a young teenager, meaning it's definitely in the Ultra games' timeline and takes place a handful of years prior.

Problem is that we already know that Johto takes place 3 years after Kanto, which means Mina appearing as a 15 year old in SUMO, is a problem, since we know that in USUM, a trial captain cannot be older than 20.

Yo wtf. The ending was a huge letdown. I expected thorough elaboration on where the LET'S GO fit in the timeline. . . That said, it likely is the beginning of the Infinity timeline, probably taking place right before OR/AS.

The reason for this is the existence of Green, who never appeared in the series until now. Also, Red and Blue does not go through the original adventure they did in the original, Advanced, and Infinity timeline (where they take on Team Rocket). Blue only slightly helps out with Silph Co.

Mrperson0 Yes she has, she appeared in fire red and leaf green. And was supposed to be a part of the main cast in gen 1. So just because she doesn’t exist in The advanced timeline, it doesn’t mean she can’t be in the infinity timeline. Why would her existence create a forth timeline when it’s been established that the 2 timelines are already pretty different, she can be part of the normal events in the infinity timeline but not on the advanced timeline.

@@ppvsonicspy She was playable, in one game, and never appeared in future titles. Heck, she didn't even appear in Black 2/White 2. This means that Red, as always, was the canon pick for that adventure. "So just because she doesn’t exist in The advanced timeline, it doesn’t mean she can’t be in the infinity timeline." Yes, it does. We have basically left the Infinity Timeline behind as of Let's Go, so it's safe to say that the events of Pokemon Origins are pretty much "the Red/Blue" of the Infinity timeline, and she NEVER appears in Origins or the Gen VII games.

Yeah, they forget to get back to that. Basically: person stuck in the Ultra Wormholes for a long time while crossing universes will suffer from Amnesia. Anabel in Sun and Moon is the SAME Anabel from Emerald, which is now firmly in different timeline. She has suffered amnesia due to being lost in Ultra Wormholes before ending in the Infinity timeline. Now, Looker in ORAS was found lying in the beach on Battle Resort. Is he also a Faller, or is there some other reason for his amnesia?

@@Lahiss I think he was a faller because Anabel also stated she too lost her memory as well and can only slightly remember bits and pieces of the non mega evolution timeline. Looker literally forgets who he was and possibly the events in x and y and since the timeline is the infinity one has not technically met the 4th gen infinity protagonists yet so he wouldn't be from the original timeline like Anabel.

This was a very good video, barr some points that were not touched upon. An important thing to talk about is that the Ultra Wormholes allow different dimensions (or timelines) to interact with one another. The Ultra Beasts in Sun and Moon are attracted to those who have been teleported through these worm holes. The people are called Fallers. It is important to note that both Looker and Annabelle are heavily implied to be from the Advance timeline, and transported into the XY/ORAS/SM/USUM timeline, as they have both gone through Ultra Wormholes. This is why both Looker and Annabelle have lost their memories.

Actually, the Kalos War exists in both Universes/Timelines. The difference is how the war is ended. The other main difference is how Mega Stones came into existence: - Kalos-based Lore: Mega Stones were Basic "Evolutionary Stones" that were strengthened/irradiated by Xerneas/Yveltal's powers. - Hoenn-based Lore: During the second Confrontation between Groudon and Kyogre, a wealth of Natural Occuring Energy flooded the two with "Ancient Energy", reverting the two to their "Primal" Incarnations. Rayquaza was summoned by the Draconid People and upon Mega Evolving, quelled the two fighting Pokémon. Rayquaza devoured the Meteorites around the planet and ["pooped"?] Created the Mega Stones that can be found around the Pokémon World.

Dude, I like your theory but how about we just stick with the mega timeline and the non-mega timeline, I don't think that gen 1 & 2 should spit off from gen 3 - 5. So Gen 1 -5 is the non-mega timeline and 6 - 7 is the mega timeline including any mainline game that has megas in it of course

Problem is that: You cannot make a true timeline, since events/characters in other games contradict it. For example: IN USUM, its mentioned that you cannot be a trial captain when you turn 20. Red and Blue have aged, Mina has not. This means that USUM and Lets Go are not on the same timeline as the other Mega games. Same with ORAS and XY. They are also not on the same timeline, despite Mr.Bonding, since we know ORAS takes place before XY, while in XY its stated that they created/discovered Mega's first, meaning they cannot even be a thing in ORAS if they are on the same timeline as XY.

the problem is that x and y and oras actually are supposed to relate to each other. gamefreak just made an oopsie here. also,there is nothing to stop x and y and gen7 from happening in the regular timeline. they jist recently found that stuff and the backstory is confined to just kalos and alola and everything is totally fine. also,it references gen5 a lot. and pokemon origins perfectly relates to x and y without breaking the rules like oras,so its in there too. i agree that lets go is a seperate timeline tho.

Let's Go probably takes place in the infinity timeline sometimes after ORAS and before the Johto events would have occurred in that timeline because despite differences Cinnabar Island will be destroyed at one point.

Toshinobu Matsumiya, the pokemon story board writer, already explained the timeline in a tweet. The only confusion is the order of the ancient stories happen in. It's not that complicated. The AS/OR and SS/HG are remakes for a newer generation because the DS is more reliable than the old gameboy cartridges that literally stop working after some years of use. And to make it not boring for people who have already played the old games, revamped the story to include more.

Nice job talking about the actual topic of the video for about 3 seconds at the end there. But here’s my theory: Let’s Go happens slightly after the OG games (Red, Blue and Yellow) because Blue had already done his journey. It can’t be in the OG timeline, though, because Blue was surprised Oak made the Pokédex, and says he had to write in a journal.

@@mjm3091 hope not. Pokemon Mystery dungeon has alot more to do compared to the core games in my opinion. Plus the story for them are more impactful then winning some league where hundreds already beat you to it.

@@articusramos808 Well we have multiple Mystery Dungeon games tho - but I can see how someone would like to have at least one on Switch. But then again I would much prefer getting new Ranger or TCG game. And of course Conquest is pretty much the only side-game that I'm still sad that didn't get a sequel. Also if we ever get new MD game - they better give us actually good choice of starters. Like Sky had freaking Skitty - the least boring starter you could choose. They really should use more Pokemon like that instead of just starters. I'm now playing through Super and I was really annoyed when the only non starter Pokemon was Riolu.

@@mjm3091 Pokemon TCG GBC was one of my favorite games, I'm giving a copy to my nephew for Christmas. You're right about the Skitty thing,although I've never played Mystery Dungeon. Starter Pokemon are supposed to be "special" but because of the way they are in everything, they start to become less interesting.

I guess that the let's go games is a nexus point of all 3 timelines, that is the merging point or a fractured timeline which connects all the other three and Pokemon go

This quickly just turned into a summery of each game. You started with the premise that there were three timelines but then did little to succinctly explain what the pivotal splitting points were from the common creation legend you stated all the timelines shared. A graphic with branching lines would’ve been a lot clearer than waffling about unimportant details of the plots

As far as I am concerned, there are four timelines, without side games coming into play. There's the 2 classic generations, before Pokemon X & Y, and the 2 middle or Post Modern generations, Pokemon X & Y and every game after. The categories are split into two due to frequent sequels that change the canon.

Hello, can we include in the timeline the secondary games like pokemon ranger, pokemon XD, pokemon channel,... knowing that we can transfer pokemon from these games to the main games. example: pokemon ranger allows to transfer manaphy on diamond pearl and channel allows to transfer jirachi

Thank you for this video I grew up in the 90s and stopped playing Pokémon after red & blue for game boy color & pokemon stadium & Pokémon snap for the n64 I just recently got a Nintendo switch & been playing Pokémon sword & there is so many new Pokémon that I have no idea who they are lmao 😂

What if Emma is Zinnia's daughter. Try to follow my thought process here. If there's any suggestions to make it more realistic just comment. Emma entered a ultra wormhole and dimension traveled her mom believed she died while looking for her through another wormhole that lead her to the world of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in Hoenn. Although it is the first of several timelines shes been in considering the knowlege she displayed on dimensions at the mossdeep lab. Also do you believe that if pkmn ORAS came out first and introduced us to all of this and implied alot more details of what happened to Zinnia and gave more introduction to her character throughout the game. It would make the story for x and y alittle better; And by better i mean less friends and more harsh interactions with a actual rival and not a friend. Some edits would have volcanion diance and hoppa in there respective locations. The steam factory in the Lumious badlands is the actual hideout for the true villans of Lumious and the abuse volcanion which is why he hates humans. Also team flare will actually be a threat by having diversity in typings so you can't be prepared for what they throw at you. Sorry this is so long

im pretty sure LETS GO is part of the Infinity timeline and is basically starting at the same time as OSRS. there are a lot of references to sun and moon and even some of kalos. I think that in this time line Red's journey just started earlier, before the pokedex was invented and didn't finish team rocket, he just did his thing before and the new characters are the ones that had his journey from the other kanto games because of that

What ruined it was Red & Blue's appearances in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon in which they are adults. Either Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon happen way in the future or the Ultra timeline has something else that isn't the Let's Go games. It's possible that the Let's Go games are their own separate timeline in which mega evolution is also achieved.

After the Arceus creation, the timeline splits in two; the War and the Non-War. The Non-War timeline was created because of Ghetsis. However, he ended up being resented and the games for Gens 1-4 take place. In the War one, it splits yet again; the Primal and the Mega. The Primal timeline has ORAS and USUM whereas the other has XY, SM, and Let's Go in it.

Let’s Go takes place sometime before Sun and Moon, since Red, Green and even Blue are in it, and Red and Green aren’t as old as they are in Sun and Moon. With the timelines running beside each other, I’d put Let’s Go shortly before the events of Black and White 2, maybe even during the events of Black and White.

I believe that Pokémon takes place in a distant post apocalyptic future far away from now. This is just my opinion on what year or time period Pokémon takes place in. They seem to have everything we have in modern days, except there are Pokémon schools, Pokémon hospitals, etc. I believe that Arceus and Mew at some point in the mid to late 21st century would create the Pokémon world as we know.

• Red/Blue/Yellow > Gold/Silver/Crystal • Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen > Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver > Black/White > Black 2/White 2 It is said that X/Y/Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire are a different timeline from the other two, one where mega evolution is acheived due to a pivotal moment in a war in the Kalos region. However, after that, there are some things that stop becoming clear due to Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, which are a fourth timeline in it of themselves. Just play the rest in release date order. It really won't affect your gameplay experience.

Let's go takes place in between G1 and G2 because blue even says I'll take over the viridian gym after you beat Giovanni as seen in silver, gold, and crystal. So it most likely takes place parallel to one of the other games in the infinity universe

No, it takes place in exactly in G1 story. It's that Red, Blue, and Green's journey started earlier than the events of the OG games. So early that the first pokedex wasn't ready for them. And never have to experience the main Team Rocket fiasco. Blue deciding to be a Gym Leader is a result of that journey. Another hint is that Sabrina mentions she'll never meet a trainer like you again in 3 years, referencing GSC/HGSS.

Didn't Nintendo/The Pokemon Company already confirm that Let's Go is a spin-off title, meaning that it doesn't influence the actual canon of the normal games.

actually,heartgold and soul silver kinda confirm that red does still got the pikachu and the three starters in the newer continuity,so gen1 and 2 are still in the same timeline....just that its basicly just the yellow information injected into the gen3 remakes. also,gen6 and 7 fit into the regular timeline too(and they even fit better there. the megatimeline has that nasty disconnect where gen6 acts as if all that stuff is new,despite oras taking place a few years ago and having more megastones than gen6 and fairys already in the mix. what a fail). also what is interessting is that the megatimeline starts with pokemon origins technicly,so we can assume that there are megatimeline events in johto since those events basicly just sequel everything red did(from discovering eggs on sevii islands,which was not shown in origins sadly,to beating team rocket)

I think. Whichever time line that has the pokemon forever movie, is the one that this game fits into. Because of the notebook in oaks lab is from the movie, I think.

Ohhh so that makes sense why Archie and Maxie have their advance designs. I thought rainbow rocket at first was Giovanni finding the old leaders to form a new group, but was confused why they had the old Maxie and Archie design
