If you've ever felt like one side is off when running, you may be experiences a poor connection between your big toe and glutes. This can cause torsion or rotation at the hip, knee, ankle and foot making your running form seem way off.
Working on the strength of your glutes and big toe in single leg is essential to correct the alignment of your lower extremity.
One of my favorite ways to do so is with the mobo board. This board is designed to teach you the movement pattern we use in running- big toe stability by pushing down through your big toe. It helps to strengthen your foot and ankle as well as your glutes and forces you to be in the proper alignment.
