I'm 65 years old, singing every word with them. How can I remember the lyrics when I can't even remember where I leave my car keys today? Such an under-rated band. Thanks for sharing their family wedding. Made my night👍😊

Man, there has to be a way to get them into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! They are super talented and they are so much more than a band, they truly are an institution. They are truly deserving of that honor and I pray they will be recognized by the RRHOF before we lose anymore of them. They own a piece of my heart, thanks to Louise and your dedication of sharing their great trials, tribulations and musical talents and contributions with everyone on You Tube. I had no idea of all they endured in their childhood. How anyone could raise a hand to any child is a mystery to me. Those kids were so adorable, I just fell in love with all of them and I wanted to give them all a great big hug. I'm glad they have been able to overcome the past and become the loving parents to their children that their parents were not able to be to them. =( Bud and Barbara messed up a lot but they gave the world SEVEN + precious souls the world was truly blessed to have had the chance to enjoy. Abba Bless Louise and The Cowsills Always.

Thank you soooo much for sharing this wonderful positive family experience/memory. 😊 On May 18, 1990, my pianist played "The Rain, The Park and Others Things" in the chapel during my wedding ceremony. A beautiful memory... Absolutely love The Cowsills. On August 30, 1969, they all sang "Happy Birthday" to me after their show in Asbury Park, NJ at The Convention Center. My 16th Birthday! I always loved this song. I was too too young when it first came out. I was 4 and my mother never had top 40 stations on. She preferred the easy listening ones. The lyrics in this song could actually be a reality. Sometimes angels will appear to people in a time of need and sometimes appear as a beautiful young woman but it is love that comes from the angel that is life transforming. Like the Lyrics in the song the angel will appear but suddenly be gone but the love does literally show them a sunny day after a cloudy one and the person who experiences this will know all is well even when times are tough.

I had heard The Park before but never paid attention. One day I was in physical therapy because of a broken bone and heard the song - I 'Shazam'd it - thought, what a weird name for a group - didn't realize Cowsills was actually a family name - and started going on KZfaq and have spent the last couple of years learning as much as I can about this incredible family. Every couple of weekends I get hooked and end up spending the whole night (literally) listening to everything I can find. They are absolutely fantastic and I love how they can reproduce all their hits seamlessly regardless of who's playing. Such talent, and such wonderful, good, altruistic people, in spite of everything they went through. (I have family in Boston - looooooved the whole video about them being at the Red Sox playoff game).
