Honestly I was very removed by the characterization of Margaret in seasons 3 and 4 largely because Helena Bonham Carter is such a well-known actress, whereas Vanessa Kirby was just relatively unknown at the time. That's not to say Carter did a bad job far from it in fact. But it felt less like seeing the person and more like seeing a performance of a person. But to be fair, both Claire Foy and Olivia Colman look absolutely nothing like the queen another of them look like they could be the younger or older version of each other. Same goes for Kirby and Carter. The only two actors that bears some form of a resemblance is Tobias Menzies and Matt Smith but only loosely, like I wouldn't say that they are the older and younger version of one another, but I could probably buy them being father and son. which would be fun to see them doing a project together if it ever happens.

I think the wedding is supposed to give you dark chills because you know how it ends. And everyone knows that their marriage was a total shit show.
