Even Sultan Suleiman sees the tension between Hurrem and Prince. Sultan Suleiman thinks Mustafa is right. Hurrem doesn't hesitate to tell Sultan Suleiman that she doesn't like his attitude. The prince shares everything happened with his mother. Mahidevran gets even stronger with Sultan Suleiman's support.
Ibrahim reacts harshly to the rebels in front of his palace but Sultan Suleiman doesn't let his rage come out. Matrakci's support for the rebels causes Ibrahim and him to fall out with each other. Bali Bey wants to warn Matrakci.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

@@umerahussain7204 yes definitely but unfortunately the situation couldn’t be helped. It was Mustafa or her kids and her paranoia got worse when Mustafa and Mahidevran started making threats. Even if Mustafa and Mahidevran weren’t hostile towards her (they were kind to her in real life) she still would’ve been forced to destroy Mustafa. She said so herself later that this war between them is something she never wanted to participate in and that she did not make the rules which is true. She was just a captured slave girl who was forced into ottoman politics.

"For yourself and your kids" is an actual threat when its coming from an Ottoman Prince who has a good shot of inheriting the throne. No one should be surprised when Hürrem plotted Mustafa's death.

While Hurrem was defending herself against Mahidevran and Mustafa walked in on the wrong moment, Hurrem continued pushing the subject. She absolutely threatened Mustafa first, and telling him to be nice to her with the unspoken "or else" attached from the sultan's wife is just as bad.

@gamehacker830 - Mahidevran is afforded all the rights of a wife according to Islam. It was Suleiman's duty to treat Hurrem and Mahidevran fairly. He was the Caliph of Islam but failed to follow this rule.

Mustafa did right! I admire him for saying the right things to Hurrem! He’s matured and makes wise decisions just like his father, Suleiman! You can’t blame Mahidevran for blurting those things which weren’t even the exact thing that Hurrem did to Mustafa. Hurrem tried to kill Mustafa by sending a concubine to him who poisoned his drink as ordered by Hurrem. Fortunately, that time, Mustafa survived it!

mahidevran tried to kill hurrem right after the first time she slept with the sultan whats the point. i wish hurrem would have said im sorry that you had to witness my reaction to your mother treating me like that. we will both strive to do better next time. that way the sultan would know why the incident happened. poor mustafa getting pulled in by his mothers constant bs. she is the real reason he gets executed in the end she caused discord between him and his father. hurrem even tells him later on in the series that she wishes he was her son so she didnt feel compelled to protect her children from him.

If anyone ever doubted whether or not Mustafa had it within himself to hurt his siblings, he just proved it. He basically said for Hürrem to respect and support him or else she and her children would not be safe. So no, Mustafa was not the right successor to Suleiman. History happening the way it did was what saved Hurrem's life. Had Mahidevran become Valide Sultan, she would have whispered in Mustafa's ear, and it would have been over. He hid behind her skirts like a child his whole life.

For sending a concubine intentionally to Mustafa, I don't think it's wrong would Hurrem be at peace if she finds Mahi sent a concubine to her son for conspiracies. Not all time Hurrem or mahi or anyone can be right I think we should be more fair to characters according to the situations and not all time rebuke one character irrationally.

@Dreamfyre the thing is that Mustafa is obligated to defend his mothers integrity and dignity. It would be a huge shame and seen as extremely disrespectful if he questioned his mother in front of everyone. That’s why Suleiman gave the verdict that Hürrem was the one in wrong. Also Mustafa growing up had only seen his mother crying and upset so he naturally internalized this.

There were many instances where he listened to the voice of his conscience, actually that's also what led to his downfall to a degree & his eventual execution..I guess most of the viewers believe the opposite..Everyone has their opinions. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Хамство Хюррем и предательство ее дочери Михримах стоили жизни не только Мустафе. Но и Баязиду с его 4 сыновьями и целой толпе внуков от Мурада, сына Селима, а также Джихангиру. И другим братьям Мурада. И невинным детям Мустафы. Хюррем - серийная убийца в сериале, причем собственных родственников она своими действиями убила столько, что рядом с ней Махидевран в сериале просто отдыхает. Какой уж тут Мустафа, если она создала для своих внуков целый адский котел своими же руками.

Suleyman wasn't fair to ask Hureem to apologise to mustafa ... he knew Hureem would do whatever he asked of her. He's not doing it to humiliate her, but actually to protect her. Both Hureem and mustafa including mahidrevan got it all wrong. That's how I see from his demeanor after she apologized.
