Do you play guitar? Sometimes the simple things are the best for said song. Look at the Cult " She sells Sanctuary" If you have learned it you will find its simple BUT look what it does for the song its iconic and makes the song. Just my thought ...

So you sir, by your own account (just a few comments bellow), recognise that you only really know THIS song from The Cure, agree that it is great, but state, somehow, that the band behind the song is not. Fried brain cells, indeed. You find meaning in this song because of some movie (unknown to me). That's fine. It is also fine to disagree with The Cure being the "greatest" band (whatever that means). But this band is, without any doubt, one of the best Goth bands ever, and I suggest, for your own enlightenment, to be acquainted not only with their songs, but with the context from which they were created. Post-Punk is one of the most prolific periods of western pop music, and one must be aware of the historic period it was born, and listen to such bands like Banshees, Joy Division, The Glove and many others, to fully grasp what is their true meaning.
@JQUICK217 жыл бұрын
+Rogerio Senna - No, You are wrong. I found this song from the movie The Vow, looked for it here and have come to love it. I then looked for other videos and songs from this strange band, guys with painted fingernails, lipstick and birds nest hair, and found their other songs, which to me are really bad and suck. Of course it is my opinion which I offer. However their popularity or at least the following that they have, must surely be those who are heavily into drugs, painting their fingernails (men), and those who don't mind going out in public with hair and appearance of someone who has not showered or bathed in quite a while and could care less about how bad their hair looks. Are you understanding me now? Not going to argue or continue with this. Let's just end it with me saying I like this song alot and no further discussion is needed......
