Wonderful news Viktor!! I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and given 2 years. I was devastated but never gave up or lost hope. That was 17 years ago!! I’ve been in remission for 14 years. Miracles do happen and you and your work prove that. NEVER EVER give up!!!!

I, too, experienced what my doctors called "Fourth Nerve Palsy," causing double-vision when both eyes were open; covering one eye allowed me to see without the double vision. It is a terrifying and disconcerting experience. I am so deeply sorry you had to experience this, Victor, but absolutely delighted with your recovery. It certainly does put our daily lives into perspective, just as you described, and making plans and adjustments (just in case it doesn't heal) can be a sobering yet positive thing to do. For myself, I experienced very slow and gradual improvement over a period of several months; my vision finally returned to normal after five months or so. Wishing you all the very best things in life, along with my gratitude on behalf of the animals you rescue. Life is precious. Embrace every day!
