Just happened to me today. Adjusting my new nose button and for got the arrow. Took me a couple hours to make it right.

@@SouthernDrawTN nothing broke , just had to replace an inch of serving were it got pinched between the module and cam. So, some rudimentary tools and some yt vids and she's good as new👍🎯❤️🇺🇸

I’ve come close a couple of times in last 30+ years but luckily never did it. At an ASA Classic in Paris Texas a guy in my group completely destroyed his brand new Hoyt. Like $1500 ? gone. The sad part is he was like 25 feet down the shooting lane at the stake ( fairly thick brush) and not a one of us noticed he didn’t have an arrow loaded. He got finish the comp because one of the guys in our group let him shoot his bow which happened to fit him very close.

Mannn, that's awful. When i first did this, I didn't even want to call or take it anywhere (I didn't know it was just a cam issue at the time, as I was really new to archery). The more I talk about it, the more I find out, it's more common then you'd think. I'll never forget, I had spent so much time trying to get this thing meshed to me, this was the day I was feeling "ON". I just couldn't get a bad grouping. This was the last arrow before I stopped and went back to work, and boom, awful lol.

Take a look at Shrew or get a ZhuRan. Tibetan Qinghai would be good. You just seem to be cursed with compounds. Maybe a Hill Style or English Long Bow.

I'm not against recurves though, just to add. Just never tried one, or know anyone around to show me how to use one.
