Who needs of a microphone when you have such a stentorian and magical voice!! Such a beautiful person!! I admire her so much!

The only problem with that is the recording of the voice wasn't an accurate representation of what people in the hall heard. We heard a very loud piano and the mic recording Lezhneva was who knows where.

Classical musicians never use a microphone. They are trained to be naturally loud -- and soft. The microphone tends to erase these differences.

I personally believe they chose the audio of the piano because her voice is already resonant enough.

Wow, it is so incredibly interesting to watch her sing. She reminds me of Cecilia Bartoli in her wonderfully alive and clean coloratura. Her whole body sings and swings, as my coach would say. BRAVA! I love it. Thank you for sharing.
