Salaam was so overrated! I once sat in the end zone when Colorada played Oklahoma and I could easily see the massive holes his offensive line was creating for him. Good Lord! You could have driven two doublewides through there. That line NEVER seemed to get any credit. Even in this game here, he is running through huge holes and is not even being touched until he's 12-15 yards downfield.

I hear what you’re trying to say… but 2,000 yards is 2,000 yards. You can have a great line and also be a great RB

Crazy thing is he was the FIRST PERSON to thank his offensive line - if you watch his Heisman speech, he mentioned that he didn't deserve it (or something along those lines) because his line were the ones who actually did the work - ask any one of his linemen from that year and they will tell you, Rashaan was VERY uncomfortable with the award but accepted it and came back to Boulder and personally handed it to them, told them that they deserved it a lot more than he did. Can give you sources if you need but Rashaan was right there with you....and acted on it.
