that is some fast paced tennis, has Cincinnati always been fast courts since back in the day

Faster courts and balls too. In 2023 Cinci was the slowest surface among the hardcourts, slower even than Indian Wells. New Greenset surface provider. And they had new US Opens, transparent can, super slow also. So naturally, it was a super slow grindfest, horrible to watch

Baseline tennis is boring compared to the game players had to play before"better" rackets and balls made it possible to win with baseline.slugfests..
