Ingredients (approx. 20 pieces or 1 Boston cake style & 10 regular pulla pieces)
350ml water
1 egg
100ml sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cardamom
Melted butter 100g
Flour approximately 1l
Fresh yeast 50g or dry yeast 25g
How to make the dough
1 Add salt, cardamom, eggs, and sugar to warm water and mix well.
2 Dissolve yeast well in water
3 Add the flour little by little and mix by hand.
4 Add flour and knead until the dough sticks to the bowl or your palms.
5 Add melted butter or margarine that has cooled to about human skin temperature and knead.
6 Indoors, place the bowl in hot water for primary fermentation (about 30 minutes to 1 and a half hours until the bowl swells)
7 Shape into desired shape and perform secondary fermentation
8 Brush with egg wash (not listed) and bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes.
