About Baldur's Gate 3:
Baldur's Gate 3 is a role-playing video game with a single-player and cooperative multiplayer element. Players can create one or more characters and form a party along with a number of pre-generated characters to explore the game's story. Optionally, players are able to take one of their characters and team up online with other players to form a party. Like previous games in the Baldur's Gate series, Baldur's Gate 3 has turn-based combat, similar to Larian's earlier games Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II; all combat is based on the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules

In all my play-throughs, I've never taken Raphael's deal. Yet I've always ended up freeing Orpheus. Raphael can't resist running his mouth and giving you some very precious information even before you take his deal.

Halsin interrupting that intimate moment was way funnier than it needed to be. I feel like the fact that he's gigantic makes every scene with him 10x more hilarious. I love how giddy you were while choosing the perfect party to take to Sharess' Caress, even though you ended up not doing anything because Astarion decided to be cute and sincere out of no where. Gotta bring the bestie, the boyfriend, and the side piece to the brothel 😂

One of the best episodes yet 😂 the awkward giggles in Sharress's Caress were my exact reaction my first time playing, and I love how everyone who romances Astarion ends up robbing every locked chest they see lol

You gained the performance skill in act 1, right? Now that you're in the city where there are actual bards, try playing your instrument when you're near one. Also, there is a kitty on the ground floor of Sharess' Caress that I don't think you saw, unless I missed it. She's one of my favorites 😺

Awesome vid as always! I loved how you argued with him when Astarion assumed you were in favor of him ascending, that was legit so funny because I'm the same way, getting heated with fictional characters haha. And then it was cute later when you talked about the foursome with him, I feel like "don't be so nice to me, it makes me want to be nice back" is pretty much exactly his entire character. It's easy to forget how much sexual trauma he has when he likes to pretend he's a hedonist, but we know the real him! Also, I've never taken the Raphael deal in the past but I'm going to in my current run and I'm excited (worried) to see how it goes haha.

5:50 Damn, look at all those scrolls! Might be a good idea to have Gale learn some of those. 40:50 😂😂😂😂😂 The best part is the instant regret! Also, having just finished a playthrough where I romanced Shadowheart, I found it pretty funny that you had her leave the party when you got to the brothel as though she wouldn't approve. 😉 If you're playing as one of the companions OR as the Dark Urge origin, you get a 5th choice in the "rapture" dialogue with the nymph that is supposed to represent that character's true desire.

1:10:28 . If you use other companions, the last choice will always be their desires. for example: Astarion's secret desire is to be safe

IDK if it was mentioned in the game ever, but the Hells *do* have a figure ruling all nine layers who stands above the Archdevils like Zariel and Mephistopheles, an "Archdevil Supreme," as Raphael wanted to title himself. That would be Asmodeus, a Devil turned God, the Supreme Master of the Nine Hells who rules all the Hells from his throne at the bottom of Baator, and I think it's fairly well agreed upon by fans that even with the crown, Raphael would get his ass handed to him by Asmo the moment he became a problem.

Drow twins have some of the most hilarious dialogue if you take their offer. And there's loads of it for all the different combinations (solo with the guy, the girl, or with, well, bigger numbers). You can also come back with Astarion later after you finish his quest. Or with Halsin, if at some point you'll finally manage to progress to the next level :) (Halsin's dialoguewith drow twins is really something)

1:14:04 Ooo! I love that this book is about a paladin of Sune. Fun personal fact my main D&D character I play as a player, who I also played in BG3 is also a paladin of Sune. I may have mentioned them before but they’re a tiefling named Goldenheart who grew up as an urchin wild magic sorcerer in Baldur’s Gate after their dad (the pope-like leader of Elturel at the time) left them there since he knew Zariel was going to pull the city into the Hells years later. When they grew up they became a paladin of Sune because love from their friends was what kept them going so of course they were gonna follow the love goddess. They also became a Harper because they see tyranny as the enemy of love and wish to strike it down wherever it appears but don’t really know how to (they’ve got 8 intelligence but the wisdom to know that xD) so they are like “Ill join this faction who’s MO is *fight tyranny* and I am sure they’ll put me to use where they need me” The Harpers appreciate their enthusiasm. But they can’t keep a secret very well and their wild magic makes them unpredictable so a lot of the higher ups view them as a liability sometimes.

Astarion is one of the companions you can take willingly into the Drow twins situation, so no worries about that. He's not possesive.

Yeah Astarion is more sentimental because that's how influenced him lol. If you influenced him to be more evil and selfish, he would have been OK with the 4sum

@@KimEllendale *pauses* That's actually a great question. In my head Astarion started with "the other spawns" and only uses "siblings" mockingly/out of habit. Guess i'm going to need to play again to make sure.

@@zephyrfields9977 Kim wouldn't have reason to know/think about it at this point, but considering of the ones we met so far one was a full elf and the other was a full human, they aren't genetically related.
