Yeah, almost all horror movies now are Christian propaganda. And I've noticed they're trying to make the Priests in the church "sexier and charismatic" if you notice from the conjuring universe movie "The Nun" where he's talking to the secret Vatican council. It's so see through it's not even funny. Meanwhile movies with Pagans, other Gods or Witches tend to make them look creepy or just plain weird (Midsommer). What I liked about La Llorona was that you saw an ex Priest who became a Curandero, an indigenous Shaman from Mexico using magic as well as the traditional Christian stuff to fight her. It was a lot like Supernatural. Of course even Supernatural passed a lot of stereotypes against other religions and uses of magic as well. Which is hypocritical to say the least. In the end this movie isn't all too impressive because using DNA to try and create a body for Satan is a trope that's been used over and over again. What was fascinating was the scene where you saw the battle from Heaven. I could see a sort of Obi Wan Vs Anakin Skywalker type storyline being used for that and even some of the effects. That would have been more fascinating. But all this spiritual warfare crap is boring and over used already. Like that ridiculous movie "Quija Board origin of evil" where the Mom was a fake psychic who used a Quija Board and got her Daughter possessed. You didn't even have to look through subtext because there was none.

yeah spiritual warfare is everything but people aren't taught and so we're spiritually stunted while intellectually/technologically advanced

St Michael was the archangel who fought and cast out lucifer. So, if they stick to literal biblical teaching - he'll do it again. Michael has far more power than lucifer because Michael never turned his back to God. Good always has the last say in things. People think demons are powerful, but they only have power if you give it to them. Which I don't. God has them on very short leashes, for when they fell, He knew and knows their intentions. It's fascinating to learn on, but even demons will admit their time is running out, and fast. When you add in, praying the Rosary, they absolutely run away in terror from that. A string of beads with the Hail Mary prayer they flee from. It's quite the ending of once powerful angels fallen, to perish eternally at the foot of Christ' mother, though by the power of God. They're mortified by the purity of Mary which they once had until they sided with lucifer. She is the complete opposite of lucifer in every regard and that irks him to no end.

So glad you mention the Rosary and Mary. 🙏🙏🙏

But the amount of movies where the 'good' guys kill more people, nameless goons (who might be suckered or forced into crime) than the baddies is huge. Also in reality we see this too often, our side is good, they are bad. That the USA for instance denies having war criminals on their side, let alone stops them being tried, is deeply worrying. Series like this keep that mindset alive. Dehumanising the enemy is step one of war propaganda, by the way. So I still think, it needs more thinking than simple answers.

In practice, however, Christians like Conquistadors or the Inquisition did unforgivable things in the name of Christianity. So if there was a Christian 'lore' in Hollywood, it would have to be flawed, start off by being wrong then learning from their mistakes not to intervine between humans. That would make it somewhat watchable.
