Mark Glover is the solo /principal euphonium of the world famous Grimethorpe Colliery Brass Band in the UK. The band are from Grimethorpe village in Yorkshire and were the stars in the hit movie 'Brassed Off' which stared Ewan McGregor and Stephen Tompkinson. The band are famous for playing music like 'Danny Boy', 'Concerto De Orange Juice' and 'William Tell'. Grimethorpe are ranked in the top 10 bands in the UK and in 2023 came 4th in the British Open Brass Band Championships. Mark endorses Sterling Musical Instruments and K&G Mouthpieces and is an affiliate for musicroom.com. Mark is a teacher for The Entrust Staffordshire Music Service where he is an expert brass teacher. He can teach all brass instruments including trumpet, cornet, trombone, euphonium, horn and tuba. He has experience teaching beginners, intermediate players and advanced musicians. His teaching philosophy helps brass players find easy and simple ways to make progress in a limited amount of time.
