Yes, cinema depicts fictional characters, so it's expected that a woman wouldn't say something like that. The purpose of fictional characters is to have unique backgrounds and perspectives, which may differ from what most women would say.

I had a friend who had a thing for criminals and intentionally went into a relationship with a drug dealer/former pimp. She says weird shit like that all the time. She had a hard life growing up. Obviously that kinda person is incredibly difficult to get through to and will make questionable decisions. The point of that line is to make her issues apparent to the viewer and get you thinking about why she would say that. Jocelyn is hypersexual, into freaky shit, been through recent trauma, regularly drinks & does drugs. So it doesn’t surprise me that someone like her would say that. Not all TV is written about role models. Not all pop stars are meant to be role models either. But their investors wanna maximize their audience and their profit. This is what the show is tryna show you.

If a kid sees this, that's on the parents. This show is not good, but the whole point is that this girl is not mentally healthy and Abel's character is a terrible human being. I also dont know if it was just me but the scene in response to lily’s character being topless which several characters said (cant exactly remember) along the lines of “she did it because she wanted to”, “no one was forcing her”, “her being topless is considered art”, made me feel like this was a passive agressive response from sam levison targeted to those he received backlash from Sydney Sweeney’s extreme nudity scenes.

These types of shows that Sam Levinson makes are really harmful for young audiences. I know because I was pretty young when Euphoria first came out, a freshman in high school, and I thought it was art. I copied the makeup and how the girls acted thinking thats how high school is and that its "cool". This idolization of drugs, alcohol, and sex are really dangeous for young girls and I was really impacted by it. Hope someone calls Levinson out on his bs soon.

Like a fun time." Then go give the guy her number. "He looks like a highschool science teacher who sleeps with his students." Proceeds to give him her number. Like she literally said guys who look like stalkers are animals in bed🤮🤮 I cut her off the second I found out her celebrity crush was Ted Bundy.😬

I've been a superfan of BLACKPINK since 2016. As a Blink I had to support Jennie on her new project so I turned on ep1 of this show even after all the rumors and multiple warnings from my sister. Guys, this is coming from a true true Blink: I did everything I could to make it through ep1 but I finally backed out almost halfway through. To say the show is disgusting is actually an injustice. It's not just disgusting. It's pure pure *pure* satanism at its absolute worst. The show is horrific and i truly feel for all our young women out there who have to exist is world with a "show" like this. If you're a victim of anything even remotely sexually related, *DO NOT WATCH THE IDOL.* If you have any sense of morality, even in the slightest, *DO NOT WATCH THE IDOL.* If you are a human being who loves and respects themselves and other human beings, *DO NOT WATCH THE IDOL.* It is not a show.
