What's truly impressive is that it's a lot of people's job to do basically this, all day every day. Hosts in restaurants, greeters at stores. I've done that kind of work. And you're getting minimum wage, and the people are rude. Being paid well to meet people who actually like you, even if you're incredibly tired, dies not even compare.

As an introvert I can barley go 4 hours with more then 1 person with me, I could never go on tour. But I can still put on a fake smile and be polite to others, its hard, yes, but that's not an excuse.

actually- I had a similar experience! My mom was the woman who spray tanned them in a prank video, and I saw them at a movie theater once, they were sitting around and so I walked up to them, not wanting to be rude so I had apologized before I even said anything, and I told them my mother was in one of their videos, and I thanked them that she had that experience and they looked at me so annoyed and bored and I found it so rude- It was only Lucas and Marcus, so I’m not sure about the others, but this ALWAYS seems to happen with them, they’re just annoyed when they have to interact with fans and I find it so odd.

Hearing all the lovely stories about guys you met make me feel good, especially the ones who shared about Tom Holland and Rhett & Link as I love all three and would be devastated to know they aren’t as wonderful as I believe them to be.

When I was living in Arizona, I went to a local music event. It wasn't anything major, but it was higher than just local-band-tier. The thing is, they didn't have THAT many groups on the lineup, so most were playing at least once for each of the seven days. This was also the second-to-final day. Anyway, I broke off from my friend group and went to get something to drink, and decided to have a smoke. in the smoking section I met a woman who didn't smoke, but was there to get some peace and quiet. We started chatting about music and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, we weren't flirting or anything, we were just both social people having a chat. But we ended up vibing, and spoke for like 20 minutes. We would have spoke more, but she had to go because "her band was on." Only then did I realise that was Emily Haines, lead singer/frontman of Metric, which was the major act of that event. Not only was she obviously incredibly humble about the whole thing (Metric never really got brought up besides me making a passing reference that I was kind of excited I'd be catching their act.), but again - we were speaking for 20 MINUTES, and she'd not just been performing forming once a day for 6 days before that, but then went and performed again afterwards. No excuses, Dobre Brothers.
