I think what makes some vine youtubers successful is the ability to translate the same energy that they had in their vines to a ten minute video. To use drew as an example, his energy is and humor is the same in his youtube videos as it was in his vines, but he's also adapted to make that humor fit youtube, and added more substance and the backbone of a topic and basic plot. When your content is dancing in grocery stores, it's hard to translate that same vibe into a cookie cutter youtube video.

Alright, I'm going to break this down with my forty-six years of experience. In that first sequence with the brothers on the sofa, it's clear what's going on, at least with the brothers on the ends (the twins??). It's not so much that they're bored, although it's highly likely that they are, it's that they're baked out of their gourd! I'm guessing they outgrew this crap long ago, but continue making videos because it beats getting a traditional job. In the second sequence, the ridiculous clown kidnapping, it's clear to me what's happening. If you've ever been the only sober person in a room full of people that are high, this is pretty typical of what you'll see. They think they're being deep, philosophical, creative, funny, and intelligent when in reality they look and sound like a bunch of idiots, exactly like everyone in the clown video! it explains the awful concept and execution of the video and reinforces my belief that they've got to get high to continue making this crap. I'm also convinced that they don't have an editor because what self-respecting editor would want to be professionally attached to this pile of steaming crap? II don't think the Dobre brothers even watched it after they filmed it. I mean, they have the ability to reshoot scenes so that the video at least made a little bit of sense, but that didn't happen.
