@ (i) You miss the point. It is not because it was called "Alien" - but because it was a horror-movie called "Alien" implying aliens are horrors. (ii) the Doctor also misses the point: alien just means anybody/thing not of your own kind. And it can be applied to someone not of your house, or not of your town/village or not of your country or not of your planet or not of your galaxy or universe - the scope is context-sensitive

I love how Donna was so ridiculously unlikable in her debut episode and then when she came back the writers were like, "You know, what if we made her one of the best characters in the series instead?"

After watching her first episode I got really scared because I knew she would be there for a few more seasons but yeah. She was great. It was also nice to have a companion who had no interest in getting with the Doctor.

I've said for a long time a particular incarnation of the character just has to be two things in order to be the Doctor we know and love: quirky and kind. Compilations like these, showing how eccentric all versions are, prove they're all really the same person and hero. Our beloved Doctor.
