LARRY Napper this takes place after The Wedding of River Song where the Doctor spent 200+ years between episodes just avoiding doing what he had to do, which is basically all he does anyway, so he _is_ close to 1200 at this point In the series, it's just Rory technically spent 2000 years waiting in the same spot. Though the Doctor DID reboot the universe, sometimes Rory just...stares.

He's one of the few Doctors that feels like an old man in a young man's body trying to fit in. You can see the ages especially when he's angry or when he's talking to children. This is why Eleven will always be my favorite modern Doctor.

@@jagodak.6867 About the empathy part, I don't really think showing empathy means she's a good character. 13 is just really obnoxious, especially when she says stuff like "fam", and the writing is so god-awful. They talk about her being a woman in some unnecessary scenes and it just feels cringe worthy and forced, I wouldn't mind it as long as it was well written but it wasn't. I preferred 11/12, as well as the 1st Doctor. Oh yeah let's not forget about how they made the 1st Doctor a sexist for no reason lol (In Capaldi's finale). It's mainly due to the politics in Doctor Who being forced, it was OK in series 10 until the Christmas special, but in Jodies series it was bad. Jodie isn't a bad actor, Chris Chibnall is just an awful show runner in my opinion

@@litteralyjustsam5262 I agree on Chibnall being an awful showrunner and that 13's episodes may be lacking something but I don't agree on politcs being forced into Doctor Who. What politics are you talking about? And when the Doctor being a woman was talked about too much? I'm not attacking you (if it sounds like it), I'm genuinely interested in your view on the problem. Also, I would love to see 13th written by Moffat!
