@@scottmcwave9479 Ya it would have been epic! All that sand is just going to go back out into the deep water in a couple of years. At least it would have stayed there longer in a point formation. The people doing organization of such projects have no ocean experiences at all. It's all about making a beach like they saw in a magazine! Then they can go down and take a selfie like their in Hawaii.

Similar thing happened when they dredged Wrightsville a few months ago, more of an accident but it made a point break for a couple days.

St Augustine. Erosion over last few years and storms had taken a toll. Interesting that it always seems to be near an Embassy Suites. A condo just south here in Deerfield beach for example: 26.305264455791086, -80.07647032237652
