I moved away in 1984 and have visited a few times since. I do miss home but the winters are to brutal. This Drone video tugs at my heart as it shows the beauty of my hometown and I will cherish it forever. Thank you for the fond memories.

I got the privilege of visiting Duluth on Sunday (just came home today Tuesday). Gorgeous place!! I loved it!! Everyone is so nice and friendly. I will be studying rotorcraft aviation for 2 years here starting January and I couldn't choose a better place than Duluth :)

Wow, the second this opened and I saw the bridge my heart skipped a beat. I remember flying into Duluth when I was 12 and seeing that iron monster from the same angle. I had only seen it before when grandpa used to take me to it and watch the ships go under it. What a great big little city. I miss it.

During the summer I was watching the Duluth web cam, and I seen what I thought was a kite, or a hawk, above the bridge. All of a sudden it shot straight up and was gone. I'll bet that it was maybe this drone! Great video!

This isn’t the Duluth drone experience. It shows what tourists see. It showed by the lake and a few shots of the colleges. Duluth has so much more than that.

This contest was really hard for me because I have lived in both cities and have had bad experiences in both.

Nice Video and good steady flying. The clip at 1:42 was played in reverse, im assuming for asthetic reasons, and I found it distracting. Other than that, very cool!

i don't know if you have a commercial license for UAV's, but it is illegal to fly drones 5 miles in any direction of specialty airports/ major airports. this means without license and proper permits. it is against federal law to fly drones in the city of Duluth because of DLH (Duluth international airport) and the sea plane base off canal drive. you also must have a permit from the city of Duluth and possibly one from the FAA. i just wanted to inform you about this as i fly drones often in Duluth.

Does anybody else think 4th street looks really dumpy now that they removed those trees that were hundreds of years old?

Duluth: It has a lift bridge, a clock tower, and a couple of colleges. And that's all. Maybe they were trying to save on gas by only going to three of hundreds of locations.
