Sabertooth is my favorite foe of Wolverine. I think part of the reason Victor hates Logan so much is due to the fact that Logan has friends, and something of a family. He can control his beastial side, to an extent. Victor has no friends, no family. He has embraced his beastial side wholeheartedly.

EXCELLENT history of Sabretooth! I agree 💯 that his history being retconned MULTIPLE times makes his linear timeline CONFUSING A F.. but hopefully Marvel Comics will someday publish a Sabretooth Orgins.. similar to the Wolverine Orgins that revealed that he was at LEAST 200 years old. Btw THAT story implied that Sabretooth was Wolverine's HALF BROTHER.. adding even MORE confusion to his history! Btw it's a GREAT coincidence that this video was released right after Marvel Legends has just released the DEFINITIVE Sabretooth figure! Anyways keep up the great work brother,.. always looking forward to your Marvel Comics origin stories 👑

Bro, more like 135-140 tops. And having the new figure in hand you realize Hasbro has a long way to for definitive version of Creed. To start it needs the Diamond Selects height and body shape, but with the ML articulation on a new pinless body. Can't shake the feeling that a new one will be released for the X-Men 97 line that will be more accurate. Edit Oh if you have the old Creed, his head make the new figure look way better.

@@YakBat Yea I have the O.G. Sabretooth & I did the head swap but IMO the head sculpts on the new Sabretooth look better. Btw I agree 💯 that they'll release an animated version soon.. possibly on the Caliban BAF body... because in the O.G. X Men animated series Creed was HUGE.👑

Nope. Probably no cake in the old west at all. Old north. Whatever. I would argue that Sabretooth NEVER got a birthday or xmas presents or anything. Abused kids don't get presents, I know too well. No cake for me either and I was a very angry and savage creature til about 30. My daughter was born in 2000, my 29th year, and SHE is the reason I put down my fists.

Out of the villains Logan has faced Sabertooth takes the cake he literally made the man’s life a living a nightmare for all his life in history and present. No wonder Logan can’t catch a break without Sabertooth causing trouble. But I always wonder can Wolverine really beat Sabertooth in a one on fight with using their claws? I’ll be honest, the best addition the movies ever made was making him Wolverines brother. It feels so much more personal in each fight, makes their rivalry like that of two animals fighting to be top dog, it also explains why they seem to be willing to work together after everything. Personally think next time around the ole reboot event they should go with it. Movie it came from was bad, but that was the diamond in all the rough.

People don't realize that when I was young Wolverine left the X-Men when he lost his adamantium. In his place Jean Grey then humbled Sabertooth. The X-Men made the choice to attempt a rehabilitation. To help Sabertooth overcome his blood lust. Wisely the X-Men decided to keep him the Mansions "danger basement". This brought Creed into conflict with Gambit who shared a shadowy past with the Savage Grayson Creed. He even acquired a friend in X-Forces Meltdown. Inevitably Creed came face to face with his arch nemesis Logan aka Wolverine. Sabertooth was lobotomized by The Mystery Mutant from Weapon X. This left Sabertooth in a simple child like state from his injury. Yet the X-Men s Psylock remained suspicious of the crafty Sabertooths true state of mind. Her fears proved fruitful as Sabertooth savagely attacked Psylock leaving her near death. These events led to Creeds escape from the Mansion and into an inevitable war with Xavier's elite team the First 5 ,X-Factor, on the very streets of Manhattan. As it unfolded Sabertooth was able to cripple the Avenging Arch Angel also known as Warren Worthington the third, the lover of Psylock. Eventually Sabertooth was recaptured. Only to be shipped off to join the latest incarnation of X-Factor. Which saw Creed working along side X Men legends like Mystique,Forge, WildChild and the valuptuous Polaris.

I always took Clairmont's comment to mean that due to Wolverine's healing factor, being constantly in use to surpess the Adamantium in his system from poisoning him made Logan weaker, that doesn't mean Sabertooth is the superior combatant, as many have said here Logan has beaten Creed many times.

No. John Byrne didn't write the Uncanny X-Men. Chris Claremont could have done anything he chose w/ the character. Mariko also wasn't introduced into the series until years after Byrne had left. She first appeared in the Frank Miller / Chris Claremont Wolverine miniseries in 1984. Sabertooth, for that matter, didn't appear as a character in the X-Men series before 1986. Byrne's last issue of Uncanny X-Men was 143 & first published in 1982.

Byrne was co-plotter.Mariko first appeared in issue 118. Sabretooth first appeared in Iron Fist in the 70s., created by Claremont and Byrne.Get your facts straight
