Roman went into the crowd of protestors because he wanted to get hit. In a masochistic way. After the eviscerating humiliation he endured by choking during the eulogy in front of the most influential people and interests. This most likely harkens back to the abuse he endured by Logan as a child... where his humiliation would be followed by Logan hitting him. ..

The reveal of Logan’s uncle/aunt abusing him happening whilst the camera is on Roman is such a good choice. The focus on the one child Logan physically abused whilst it’s revealed the he to was abused really sets up why Roman could never function in life the way Shiv, Kendall and Conner do.

Roman's break down at the funeral depressed me so much. There's many moments that remind you that Rome's destructive and apathetic behavior is a mask for the emotional pain of the neglect and abuse he endured in childhood

kendall “let me go. i don’t want to be you” roy’s transition to kendall “that magnificent, awful force, but my god, i hope it’s in me” roy is complete, and maybe that’s what’s always meant to happen but i can’t help but think of ewan’s words: “i don't know when, but sometime he decided not to try anymore and it was a terrible shame”

The “You Fucked It” from Kendall is a callback to last season. When Kendall breaks down in front of his siblings at the wedding , Roman says the same thing to him. Also I feel that look from Ewan towards Kendall after Kendall’s eulogy was significant. His brother died and he gave a heartfelt yet a very cold speech, finally putting Logan to rest. Within seconds he sees a Roy from across the aisle give an inspiring speech on Capitalism , making the whole room applaud. He saw Logan in him , imo.

I think this episode goes to show that one of Kendall's biggest flaws is trying to be someone he isn't. He can't fool anyone. It doesn't work when he tries to sidle up to Mencken or Jimenez, it never worked when he was interim CEO in series 1, and it never works when he is trying to be Logan. When he embraces his awkward and earnest personality we get scenes like this eulogy, or the Living+ presentation, where he is oddly magnetic That's why it's painful to see him constantly imitating his father. it feels like nobody is buying the facade, but since he has all the money, he can make them do whatever he wants great reaction + review!

Tom will be CEO. Mattson did NOT say "Yes, shiv you are the US CEO." He just said "Yessssssss" in the car. Logan made a deal with Mattson that he did not want any of his children to take over the company in season 3 when he visited Mattson with Roman.

Roman can’t lead because he’s completely insecure and second guesses all his decisions. His insecurities also means he can’t take on criticism or advice as a leader. Anytime he seems confident is when he is acting a follower carrying out instructions and putting on a charming mask in the process or tearing down someone else. The weak sounding little boy at the alter is all he is when he dares let himself feel any real emotion or let anyone in. Like his siblings he’s very broken.

I actually feel bad for Tom. That scene with shiv when he said he said goodbye was intense. You can tell this is messing him up.

While all 3 kids have their strogsuits they all share a similar downfall, they are emotionally stunted insecure people. For Roman even while having great social skills, he always falls short coz deep down he is just the small boy who got beaten by his dad. For Shiv, while she is the most versatile of the siblings, she is still the little girl who wants to prove she aint "just" a woman...mainly to herself. For Kendall even tho he is the most business savvy, he is still a boy whose whole identity was defined by his father and he doesnt know how to live outside of it. In the end they are all fighting themseves.

Very interestingly, here in Australia, the main online betting agency has Greg favorite at $2.50, then Shiv second at $3.25, Tom $4, Kendall $5, Lucas $7.50, Roman $11,.........

I wonder if it’s a naive take to hope that in the finale Shiv and Tom choose to put Waystar/Gojo behind them and understand that raising their child is what matters most. I keep going back to what Kendall said about “the poison dripping though” and man do I hope that Tom and Shiv are able to break the cycle. Brilliant episode and reaction as always, one more y’all!

I honestly have NO idea how they're going to wrap up everything in just one more episode. I feel like it's most likely going to be very open-ended and will leave a lot of unanswered questions- kind of playing into the themes of the cycle of abuse in this family and how it's never-ending. With how amazing this final season has been I have confidence in the writers, but I can't help but feel it's going to leave the audience feeling like it ended too soon. I can't believe it's all going to be over in a couple days... this show has been a historical event, for reals. So cool that you guys got Cousin Greg for a guest appearance!

Seeing Roman at the end was heartbreaking. But part of me doesn’t care for Roman because he’s such an ass. Like Ewan telling us the story about Logan’s past, it doesn’t change my opinion of them but it definitely gives us insight into why they are the way they are. The show does an amazing job at showing us their childhood without giving us any flashbacks

I really fear for Shiv's baby. Hope the war with her bros doesn't cause a miscarriage. Also, it's funny how Roman fell for the fascist's trap. He really messed up because he doesn't listen. None of them listen and that's their major weakness.

It's gonna be war between Shiv and Ken. I'm really afraid that it might effect the baby and she might lose it because of Ken's actions. I hope I'm wrong feeling that way.
