While other folks get stale and repetitious Robert makes us still want to hop in the TV back seat and go along. I love these videos. Nice and calming voice, beautiful locations. Just watching these allows me to imagine actually traveling to the locations without actually being there.

Another outstanding video, Robert!! In addition, the filming takes place in my part of the country. I visited Ft. Clatsop a couple of months ago, which I had not visited in over 30 years. It was a different replica then, as it later burned to the ground and was rebuilt. Another interesting fact: the USS Missouri, the ship where the Japanese Surrender of World War 2 took place, was moved from Bremerton, Washington, to it's permanent home in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. En route, it spent some time at the port in Astoria where the cruise ship in the video was docked. The reason was that it was a fresh water port and they wanted to kill off all of the barnacles from the sides of the ship before moving it further to Hawaii. Thank you, once again, for taking us along for the ride, and what a great video to end 2022. Super Trip across the USA. I enjoyed the whole journey. Thank you both for such an amazing and entertaining Lewis and Clark Education. When I was in the 4th grade I chose L and C as my presentation project. I had a lot of fun writing the story, showing maps, and pictures (all from the library-No Internet in those days). I got an A+ on my assignment. You help bring back such pleasant memories. Thanks again. Blessings.

I really enoyed your series. Only time I did anything even close to this was from once riding all the AMTRAK rail west of St. Louis / Chicago. The AMTRAK Empire Builder splits off in Spokane going west to either Portland or Seattle, or perhaps like me did it all in a circle in the northwest heading back home. Your view of the ocean reminded me of how I saw the Pacific in California by train. Your trip was amazing and all part of why I so much liked seeing The West by rail.

Multnomah Falls,very photographic, but not from where you parked.. Definitely a must see, time permitting , especially if you take a walk upon the pedestrian bridge,bridge and get a view of the Falls from up above and then the photo of the bridge and Falls from below.. The Maritime museum in Astoria is very good and when you step outside the front door, look left for the Bow tender fish and chips boat...some of the best on the coast!!

Hood National Forest, ZigZag Ranger District. You visited my home there, Government Camp, where I lived in a bunkhouse. I patrolled the area, including to the lodge on occasion. I had access to the canyon top via Forest Service roads above Columbia Gorge. I hiked trails to the top of the falls from there. Congratulations on a job well done. I look forward to seeing your return through my current locale in Wyoming, and near the Black Hills.

This is a very nice series. I have never seen anything like this before. Lewis & Clark, I suppose it took a long time, so you had a lot of places to go. And you just had to try that new pickup out on going to Ringing Rocks. Only with my 4wheeler or a Side by Side if I had that would I drive that road. Also Montana seems crowed on the roads. What is up with that. I haven't finished all the videos yet either but will likely before next video comes out.

Belated Merry Christmas to you Robert, and Happy New Year. Thank you for another great season; I appreciated the whole creative concept of following the Lewis and Clark journey. I'm always a bit sad when I come to a season finale, but know I have the next one to look forward to!

A little too late now, but I have to tell you about a couple of missed opportunities. In Astoria, you probably drove past the school featured in the movie "Kindergarten Cop" on your way to the Goonies House. In Hood River resides some of the best microbreweries in the PNW including Full Sail who co-pioneered the Northwest craft brew industry. When you come to Oregon again, If I get some heads-up, I will point out some of the prominent breweries such as Rogue, Pelican, Deschutes, and Steelhead.
