I love how you can see in magnetos face when he said “everything” and “you should’ve killed me.” Because he didn’t want to give up the school. He would never betray other mutants. Only the ones who get in his way. He believes in Xavier’s school. But he doesn’t believe it’s enough. They are best friends that believe far differently. They both care for each other. Even at odds their still friends.

Colette, at 13 24, i dont' know if i ever saw that screen, i saw this in the theater in 2003, so i might have missed it, Dani Moonstar is in an upcoming movie on the right two names are highlighted , Sam and Paige Guthrie in the 1995 movie, Generation X , it's on youtube,, they could have had Paige as her character, but they had some random character they made up that wasn't her? they didn't have Paige or her boyfriend Jonathan Starsmore, or Chamber in that movie, because they couldn't do their powers, and Chamber has no face below his nose, just pure energy . Paige can shed her skin and have any kind of skin underneath in case she needs to adapt, her name is Husk, her older brother Sam, is Cannonball, he is in an upcoming movie Remy Lebeau is in an upcoming movie, he was in love with Rogue in the comic books Xi'an Moy Chan was supposed to be in an upcoming movie with Dani Moonstar and Cannonball, but she got taken out of the story

I love how Magneto still cares enough about Charles to not reveal his secrets but Stryker is crazy brainwashing everyone, kidnapping em from the school and his own son was wild. Love the whitehouse scene still one of the best intro fights ever Nightcrawler is badass

X2 is one of the rare instances where a sequel does as good maybe better than the original. First movie was mutants who protect humans vs mutants who want to rule them. This one was mutants vs the world that hates and fears them. Having the X-men and brotherhood team up against Stryker just shows what a dangerous threat he is not only that but he is so immoral that he gladly experimented on his own son just for being a mutant. I think this movie is best know for is how the characters evolve in some way and that they aren’t stagnant they change to some degree. Magento willing to work with the X-men, Logan choosing to leave his past behind and choose the X-men over his lost memories, Pyro being sick of Xavier’s rules not agreeing with him, and Xavier’s warning to the president that was not something the Xavier of X1 would ever do.

Also, on that list of mutants that Mystique pulls up on the computer are several well known X-men characters: the Maximoff siblings(whom you recognized), Ororo Munroe(which you should have recognized since that's Storm), Jamie Maddrox aka Multiple Man(more on him later), Sam Guthrie aka Cannonball and one of his siblings(not sure who though), and Remy LeBeau aka Gambit(and one of my favorite X-Men characters).

You would love Patrick Stewart (Professor X) as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Even the first season is pretty good and sets up a great foundation for them to build on. Consider having a look.

It's never mentioned in the movies, so this post is just in case anyone is curious... If you were wondering why (outside of him being Hugh Jackman), was every woman infatuated with Wolverine? Actually, Wolverine has like super pheromones, and some women are especially susceptible to it. Jean LITERALLY can't control herself around him. It's not unusual for pack mammals to use those same pheromones and posturing to assert dominance over the beta males (Iceman's constant discomfort). Just an FYI, in case anyone was wondering.

mystique doesn't have a costume its just articificial scales and 8 layers of body paint, and it takes a team of women about 7 hours to paint her, down from the 12 hours it originally took in the first movie. in later movies they got it down to as little as 3 hours but that was after he original trilogy.

Dear Colette: Love your commentary & evaluation, The next movies in the series are Xmen-Last Stand, The Wolverine, then last of all Logan. HOWEVER There are movies that come 'out of sequence'. You could watch Xmen Origins Wolverine NOW and not disrupt "the flow". If you do watch Origins now Please be open-minded. This movie gets a lot of hate because it doesn't 'conform to bias opinions' I won't spoil you (or it) but I don't conform to the general bias and think it is one of the better xmen movies. ALSO They try to reboot the series (and do a very good job of it) with Xmen First Class, Days of Future Past, and Apocalypse. I like these movies, they are high quality BUT they are "over-the-top" and the "Hollywood exploitation" is a bit obvious. Use your own opinion and don't let me bias you. Last of all watch Logan --- it and Shane are two of the best movies ever.
