The discard is actually a blessing in disguise you may not see it now because you are probably still trauma bonded to your ex narcissist and that's normal. But when you start to heal and keep getting the education on narcissistic abuse you will see that it was a blessing for you. And also the best respect a narcissist can give us is to leave us alone forever! And that's the cherry 🍒 on the top of the cake.🍰 😉

It was my blessing 41 years ago, I've just come to know what a narc is in the last year and she was and is still. She moved in with her older sister who was doing an open marriage that fell apart. she claimed abuse that never happened and had gvt help.I tried to delay everything and avoided being served divorce paper , her next trick in a hurry because she was pregnant by a stranger, I hired a lawyer and filed myself because I ran her out of time and she began showing.I had a vasectomy 3 years earlier and had it retested.She walked in to court knowing they never give men a fair deal and she was destroyed by my lawyer, she didn't even get a car since I sold all but one.,I sometime wonder if the children I raised were even mine.

I was discarded.... in the snap of her fingers I was aborted like an inanimate object or yesterday's trash. I'd caught on to the fact that she'd never developed an attachment with me, and as soon as I unmasked her issues with childhood-related attachment trauma, she instantly aborted me and our four year long relationship. Instant cold-hearted stonewalling. I was sick for a long time. That was ten years ago. I still have trouble with what happened. Finding your videos has clarified for me that she was a narcissist!! Your videos have opened my eyes!!!

This is again how it was for me. I let so many things go even when it was right in front of my face. I felt helpless an drained . Many times Ijust gave up . Never had thr strength to do anything or even try. You are so good at putting into almost exactly my experience and we never met each other. It is so so good to know I am not alone!!

When I was discarded my phone was not blowing up with people saying I'm I ok few listened but they didn't care much they just thought it was just a normal break up. But that also was a blessing for me because I had the time alone to see the circle of family and friends who I thought had my back now that circle is now gone! Just me and God Almighty! 🙏🏾❤️

@@Harmonious-jm3sy I grew up in Chicagoland. Not to say everyone is no good 👍. Yet there are those dark soul people who are twisted. Many years ago I had some health issues and lost everything. Ended up on disability which didn't even cover my living expenses. I lived in a trailer park because I had to set myself up to afford to live as I went through reconstructive surgeries. It was an awful time. 😔 Yet at the same time I was very fortunate with the care from my doctors and staff. So anyway I got busted slinging dime bags of weed in the trailer park. Cook County sheriffs and local Barney 5's raided my house. The local hookers told the cops I had kilos of cocaine.🤣 You know they all have stories. They were the ones bringing all the trick money over. I was a broke bastard. Anyway, they were twisted and narcissistic. Lie, cheat, connive, steal, hustle, anything they could get their hands on and do. I was just the guy with the house, looking for a pack of smokes, and 6 packs of beer(I quit drinking over 12 years ago and running the streets) my whole point is it's best to really get to know someone because they always don't show their true colors. When things get rough or a struggle occurs you will know what you are dealing with at that moment. Keep notes and test them. Leave a hundred 💯 bucks laying out. I'd say if they take it and play stupid with you then you know what you dealing with. It's worth the hundred bucks.

Mine discarded me for the last time In Chicago after finding about his other woman. He left me at a hotel stranded no money nowhere to go I ended up in a shelter. He left me homeless 3 times in 10 years. These people are brutal they don't care if you end up homeless or dead.

It’s all an act, and in my gut / intuition/ Holy Spirit (ALL of it) I KNEW that it wasn’t real love. I tried to make up for it and it ISN’T POSSIBLE. They will never be content. But I can be content. Jan 14th this was the best thing that could’ve happened to me! He discarded me started an argument said he needed space he was tired smh when he just needed time to go cheat he’s 56 and childish! I’m getting blessed left and right look better and finally got my LIFE BACK!!! God is good I give him all the praise 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I’m free from that merry go round and he’s still trying to Hoover me back I ain’t going 😂😂😂😂 leave those cheap people alone they are deeply insecure and miserable inside!!!

Thank you Andrew this is so true, I ignored so many red flags until I couldn’t anymore and was often triangulated. I caught the narcissist cheating and that was it I walked away. He gaslighted and tried to come back but I was done, that was a year ago and I have never looked back, yes it hurt at the time but no more, he can rot in hell for all I care. Stay strong people you got this, listen to Andrew block and walk away if you can, life gets so much better 💜

I heard something today that really helped! Lean into the feelings that come up at discard, then breathe them out...they leave your body quickly and become less upsetting quickly. I actually started to feel relief and joy bubbling up for the first time in ages. I it really works!

Covertly blamed. Had no idea l was dealing with a human sized, blood sucking mosquito. Today is a crucial day. Litmus test day for the narc.

In order to get out of the narcisstic relationship I was in--dude cheated throughout, gas-lighted ALL the time, used me as I was the steady breadwinner--I had to be super cold. His anger was something to behold when you caught him in a lie...which was all the time. When our son turned 16 and he ruined his day by scaring the hell out of him, I really got serious about plotting my exit. Took two years and a 30 year old bar floozy, but the day my son graduated, I was out. Painful lesson.

I haven’t watched a video in a bit but this one really stood out to me and again, you nailed it. There are many mini discards along the way and in some cases like mine, they were so subtle that I only recognize them in hindsight with the education I have now.

When the narcissist discarded me they were shocked when I agreed with them. Then the next day they were messaging me and love bombing me.😄 I didn’t tell them that I know that they are a narcissist but I have used my knowledge to confound them. Now they keep trying to find a way back to me approving of them and being a source for them but I repeatedly refuse their advances.💪

That’s just it, Andrew, he pretty much completely shut me out and wouldn’t communicate with me. Then he told me he didn’t want to talk to me anymore and wouldn’t tell me why. He was _absolutely_ a parasite. I practiced radical acceptance, went no contact, and despite things that I know have happened (publicly), I held strong on no contact. I can’t even _tell_ you how much your advice helped me after being tossed aside the way that I was 🙏🙏🙏🙏☺️ I’m FOREVER grateful for that, Andrew, thank you!!! ❤ thank you Andrew. That actually happened early in our marriage. We went to a restaurant with my parents and my then husband. The waitress stopped and looked at my husband in the eye and said "How are you doing!?" and called him by his name. The hairs on the back of my neck stood out. After the dinner was over, the waitress talked to me and she told me I apologize and explained how they knew each other. How horrible embarrassing and awkward was dinner with my parents.

I forgot to mention the waitress told me she knew him from the restaurant because he would come in there all the time trying to drum up business for a small business that we had. It's so bizarre because I was part business owner and I had no idea he was meeting with clients over there. Like Andrew said they lead a separate life from the spouse. Good news is I am getting out of the fog one day at a time. We are divorced, and I am healing. Thank God.

Love the rude walking in front of you! BBQ outing ?? Parties??? Love the "Looking for NEW Supply while they are still with you!! " Love how "EVERY Narc Relationship has an end date" (while you are busy cooking dinner for them!) Love how the "Narcissist becomes suddenly interested in one's assets". (Yeah, Mine!) Yep, left me in the "poor house." 100% CORRECT! Left me with over $60,000 in credit card debts! 100% CORRECT! Again!! Love when they "planted the seeds of doubt!". Loved it when they "manipulated me each week to wire them money abroad!" Love "the DISCARD was on purpose!" (that makes me feel REAL good inside!!!) I'm going through this with my sister. I relocated close to her after a horrific narcissistic relationship with my ex. She wanted to "work on our relationship" She is fostering my dog and I haven't seen her for 3 months now. My sister and her husband are stonewalling me and I can only assume trying to keep my dog. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this situation as I am still healing from my ex and I've had my dog for at least 13 years. Feeling so betrayed and broken all over again. Remember people, it doesn't matter if it's family, they can still be toxic and discard you. I don't know how I will heal from this

I was discarded by my own son and I never knew what I did wrong but spoiling him and never said No to him I created a monster for yearssss till 6 months ago he suddenly appeared on my front door unannounced and started to criticize me basically I was a lousy mother and all his life I kissed his ass and let him run over me till this time! There was no more communication I blocked him and his narcissistic wife and I missed them never! That’s the best and most daredevil risk I ever take I was sick dealing with an infant and money both made tons ! He will be the one loosing not me I built my life myself from 0 till I fulfilled my goals and dreams very hard work no gratitude and good bye were the best words I never depend on my kids when I get disabled they will care for me they won’t! I saw so many sticking them in the nursing home and they had the power attorney ! God forbid I will never give power attorney over my assets I live comfortably debt free and I will spend my hard earned money myself now! I don’t want to engage with them anymore I wish them luck but leave me alone and live the life I want my way

I don't know whether this is crazy, but I have begun wondering whether sometimes, even if you ended the relationship yourself, it was still a sort of discard. The narcissist knows all your triggers, and is capable of ramping up the passive aggressive distain and cruelty to the point that you can't take any more. But if you end the relationship as a result, they also get to look like the victim. That might especially make sense for a self righteous covert narcissist, who needs to look blameless, and can't be seen to be the one breaking the wedding vows.

A few months before I said that I wanted a divorce an email came to our previously shared email address, and it was a receipt for him for a double bed hotel room for 2 people, and the other one wasn't me. But he told me at the time that it was cancelled, and I couldn't prove that it wasn't a mistake. 😵💩🤢😭😭

The lowest form of a human.....the narcissist I experienced was definitely the lowest form of a human. Her mind was so manipulative and she was so very very abusive on so many levels. The narcissist set me up and it was going on for months before I realised what she was doing. She painted false pictures to her supply and flying monkeys all ready for when it was time to discard me and start the smear campaign. She was planning to play the victim so she could fleece others too/hide her behaviour/blame shift....and so it goes on and on. Hope you're healing. 🙏

yes...the micro discards....he'd go around at an event or party and have to talk to everyone( women) constantly needing attention...an would not matter what the person looked like....yikes...but of course scoping out what their resources where I'm sure...the realization of all these traits and actually abnormal behaviors is mind bending...makes so much sense now but in the river of it all was so confusing and destabilizing...their intention again...the beauty of post relationship is not having to put up with any of that again......

The micro discards is not what ppl do in healthy marriages … of course you mingle with other guests get to know other people in social gatherings but don’t you do that together as a couple, especially when one spouse doesn’t know anyone? Too many times I’d be left alone in a room full of ppl I didn’t know he’d be off galavanting being the social butterfly. I’d bring it up the next day the conversation got so convoluted crazy gaslit where i was made to believe it was my lack of being able to socialize etc …. Hmmm I did that with ease before I met him? I lost my social circle not long after into the relationship. It’s just disgusting to think about all this cruel behaviour today coming out of the fog is such a relief, I finally can say I have righteous anger and I’m not crazy.

Yeah buddy!! Exactly. I felt like I'd lived a lifetime in 14 weeks. Couldn't tell truth from fiction. I was at war inside myself. During the fault finding stage, I started turning on him. When he started putting me down, I pointed put HIS faults. I shut the purse strings. And one day I packed up and was gone in 10 min while HE was at the store. Back at my house, when he showed up I literally shot beside his head as he exited his truck. He moved to shut the truck door, I shot a second time closer. He kept talking, I yelled over him- 3rd one won't miss. He got in his truck and left I never saw or heard from him again.❤

I had been wanting long time for it doesn't matter who dumps who well that matters to the narc, I'm just Glad to be rid of It, the entire situation was preplanned for years as I looked at the different tv channels the dates of thar creation etc: I really shouldn't hose on watering the plants . I am glad they are gone, sometimes hefty takes itself out🚮You can change the perception on whatever you like. Thank Andrew,the discard happened before I'm going to Hospital. Thought he stayed by my side,he talled me that there is a new woman and leave. I couldn't believe what happened,no of my friends or my sister are not available. If I get one he/she want talk to me. He talled them how bad I treated him. They believed him,now I'm going through a horrable divorce. Trying hard not to give him support. Across the room,smiling, telling lies. Trying to take out of the marriage as much as he could take. I'm healing,slowly. On days at court my power runs out. As I come home,I slept for many hours to get my power back. It's like a fight,I think I could win with all of my power getting back. The hardest thing,not to show him my emotions. Putting a virtual wall right in front of me,to protect me. I never had to do something like this before. But it works really well. Have a great day,without you and your channel I would walk to the fog until today,not knowing what happened to me. In the beginning you talled me,I'm not alone. I wasn't alone. Thank you to you and the community.

I was love bombed for 3 months, given earrings for Christmas and then horribly discarded right after ( a holiday course) and told I was more invested then him in the relationship. Now I know he had new supply. Several months later I texted him I missed him and the abuse started all over again and the trauma bond kicked in. Years of abuse. What they do makes no sense. It's all manipulation. I'm so grateful I broke the trauma bond which was the worst. Went no contact. I'm doing the work daily and watching Andrew's and other videos, reading, journaling, and all the healing self care Ive never done before. Im starting to live my best life. You will to with work, tools and self love.

Good topic Andrew. Well yes there were some events and red flags right before the discard. It started with my accidentally finding txt from another guy to him very sexual and romantic. I got angry i confronted him he goes off on me telling me im crazy and that im sick for going through his phone. I didn't go through his phone it was charging and the messages popped up and I read them first then i did go and read all the texts. He denied said it was a joke and that i was imagining things. Then he started hanging out with this guy i only knew him as Chris, coming home late and in different clothes. Then he started leaving for 2 days no calls nothing. Then he would hide things he got from his friend from me. So i knew he was going to leave me i just didn't expect him to do it so cold-hearted. Just that memory makes me angry again and keeps me moving forward and getting stronger. Thanks everyone for your kind words and thank you Andrew for the video.

Twice on my birthday. First one, explosion out of nowhere. Discard on my birthday 7 yrs later, recently after the loss of my mom. He was on the phone on speaker on conference calls all day with me in the room, things weren't too bad. Then, on the way out to go eat, he storms to his car, got in, I thought he was getting something, I got in then rage, crazy screaming at nothing, almost hit kids in a crosswalk. I didn't know it but at that moment, I had had enough. Got out of the car, walked in way ahead of him, ordered dinner and a beer and ignored him. He was quiet until we got out, then more rage and walked out that night. Wanted to get back together 2 days later when he lied saying I just tried to call him. I said he was last person I'd ever try to call and hung up. It wasn't easy and although I know it's for the best, the anger is still there. At myself mostly. He still tries to contact me, drives by my house, sets my car alarm off, etc. Thank you so much for this and all your videos Andrew. I thought I was learning a lot and it was just me he'd go nuts on over holidays, etc. This really helped more than you know. Namaste 🙏

I don't think that all Narc discards are in the near future. Some Narcs want that marriage as it's a great front (all his guy friends are married and now he's feeling more like an outcast in his late 30's), That prize of a partner: source of income towards the mortgage, a front of "Family Man" and brags how wonderful he is that he took in your kids. But yes, once she's lured in, she's worked herself to the bone trying to please him, although his little down puts and demands are never too far off because he knows he can!! He's got you believing you needed him. Anyway, this could go towards either sex.

I was recently discarded. At the end she literally stole my money, tried to get me fired, physically assaulted me, then changed the locks on the house while I was at work and I never set foot in the house again and haven't seen my kids since. The discard thrust me immediately into homelessness in the cold pouring rain. Fortunately I had steady employment and some outside support, so I found a new place to live and I'm recovering now and rebuilding my life. But its still very hard for me.

My heart bleeds for any of you who went through the narcissistic insanity then discarded. Fortunatley I started to see my ex narc husbands true colors fairly early on, and beat him to the discard. I am so sorry if you are still living in the midst of the insanity. Try to stay strong, pray for guidance, and please journal journal journal with dates. Even record during rage fits if you safely can, it will help you find clarity, strength and may serve as evidence if needed. Also, for me stumbling upon Andrews channel was no coincidence, it was one of the tools God blessed me with and has helped immensely with the healing process.
