I still have my 360 around and more or less in active use. I skipped current gen consoles entirely due to have WAY too big of a backlog of games left from 360 era. And to this day I havent had the time to go through them all :D And since it unfortunately doesnt look like Microsoft is planning to incease 360 game support on Series X, it looks like I have to keep my good old Xbox 360 around for while longer.

@@franciscovillalobos. Thats strange, my disc drive only gets stuck when there is no disc on it but whenever there is, it always opens up. Anyhow this is common problem with the old/original Xbox 360 models before Xbox 360 S and Xbox 360 E came out.

The 2001 original Xbox was my first one! Got it in 2004 though because I haven't heard of it until the fall of 2003 from my uncle, besides Halo. Now here I am at 25 still loving it!

I was 6 years old and would spend hours watching my brothers play Skyrim, cod Black ops 2 multiplayer/zombies, prince of Persia, Minecraft, Batman, dead space. Black ops 2 holds a very special place in my heart, even tho I never really got to play those games just watching my brothers play em was fun enough for me, I would do anything to go back to those day's, to get excited whenever I heard the Xbox start up sound, even tho I couldn't play games till I was older just watching my brothers gaming adventures and playing online with my other brothers, that was fun enough for me. Brings back Alot of nostalgic memories.

How to feel nostalgic and proof you owned or played on 360 consoles: 1. The startup gave you chills and happy feelings. 2. 250gb memory was considered a lot back then. 3. The game menus were just as good as the console startup 4. You always played cod, halo, or minecraft. 5. With your console you had controllers, drum sets, steering wheel, earpieces, guitar, kenect, and a texting pad etc. 6. You spent hundreds of dollars on xbox live gold memberships. 7. You liked to customize your avatar and achievements were actually fun. 8. You played split screen on your big fat box tv. 9. You got the red ring of death. 10. The rest of your family only used it for the dvd player and you drank tons of mtn dew.

0:46 I remember it was the summer of 14’ and it was going to start. I had gotten Xbox Gold pass, and after school bell rang, and headed home. I started the Xbox and played it all day with random online friends playing Minecraft. That summer was the most memorable one I have had.

summer of 14’ was the 360 in its prime i remember i’d have like 40 friends online in the middle of the day and even at like midnight i’d still have 20 online and almost all of them were playing minecraft. the good old days

Fun fact : original xbox startup and xbox 360 startup will still come in xbox series x/s only if you play original xbox game like cryimpson skies and for xbox 360, you must play any 360 game like mirror's edge, zuma etc.

I remember playing games on a new Xbox 360, and it started with the 2007 startup logo. When I played LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, my 360 was updated and the startup logo was transformed into the 2011 one.

yep, used to play xbox 360 but I hopped on xbox one in 2018, it feels good to have the more new series. But I respect the opinion that some people still like xbox 360, but I just wanted to try the xbox one because to have a fresh start with more games, see the features, and many more stuff.

Xbox one s is actually slightly better performance, but it doesn't really matter than much. The real difference is that it's not heckin huge like the Original Xbox one.
