Just watched the series finale…for now, and I don’t even know what to say… this show has to be, without a doubt, the best hard science fiction show of my generation and I really, really hope we’ll get more in the future.

@@GraveTecMediaGroup same as with Dark Crystal age of resistance dunno if we will have to settle for unresolved questions, I know there are the books, but consider the series different enough to not know. Anyway it was rescued once, but I have the feeling it is a farewell to the series and felt hurried and without closure in some questions

I sincerely hope that we'll be able to see an adaptation of Persepolis Rising, Tiamat's Wrath, and Leviathan Falls in the future. So many amazing moments are still to come.

@@MegaCityGhost Months late pickyness. But only 3 books makes a trilogy. The Expanse book series is more accuratly called an Ennalogy by people even nerdier than i am.

@@jAkiosn Yeah, by trilogy I meant the books 7-9. There's a 30 year time jump after book 6, and there's a completely new conflict going on so it is kind of a separate trilogy in that sense.

The way you've used the instruments in this one really captures the "how far we've come" spirit of the original. It feels more like something you'd find in the opening of a Civilization game, showcasing humanity's achievements through the ages. A sort of sibling to the show's theme. Incredible work!

Totally agree with this Buzzy, Shorter's original was great but Mathias really accentuated all the best elements of it. I'm only an amateur in this area but the one thing I missed in this cover (and the original) is strong vocal harmonies, I think this track is just screaming out for it! Over all...amazing!

I love this opening sequence. It's one I never skip bc I always want to hear the song. I searched for an extended version & found this...thank you for creating one! You've made a lot of nerds happy 🤓 It's now on one of my Spotify playlists! Oh, I see you covered GOT...the same composer did the opening sequence for Westworld (Ramin Djawadi), another one of my favorites. I'd listen to an extended version of that any day.

I feel like this doesn’t go too overboard and stays along with the central theme yet takes some creative liberties at the same time. It kind of reminds me of Halo also. Good work !

@@Virjunior01 Not at all! Like most adaptations, many things are cut, characters are combined into one, and plots are simplified. The books have the "time" to go deeper in every direction, and the experience is richer for it!

Great work with this one! I always believed that the original version was as long as it needed to be. This one is "spiced" up a little more, so it can make you "travel" longer. Thanx for sharing this!

I'm in the last book of the series, and I don't see how they can do the final three books without the Alex character. He's essential to a lot of the plot towards the end. I would re-do the whole series.

No matter what space fan community im apart of, Star wars, Mass effect, the expanse and so many more. we the fans.... the shit that we make between the fan films, the music... and just the love of space makes me so happy and at home with fellow nerds. we are a different bread, not like most. we look to the stars not in fear or horror for what's out there, No we look to the stars in amazement, wanting to explore, needing to touch the stars. Fascinated by whats undiscovered, and the drive to drive the human race forward into the stars. Love ya'll

@@Petter1900 Yes Amazon is cancelling it after season 6, I was saying if they change their mind and decide to make more seasons to adapt the later novels I could see the theme being used as the Laconian empire's national anthem.
