This is a re-upload of the Blocked Road of Resistance Live Version which i tried to upload yesterday. I added some Overdubbed Facts about Babymetal in the Parts where i do not speak that much, and just watch the Video in awe. I also slightly colored changed the Video in the Clip, to prevent the Algorythm from going crazy again. I hope that does not bother you die Hard Fans of Babymetal that much, but for now this was the only thing i could think of to prevent the instant Block. Thanks for watching nonetheless.

Just think that from 6:33 to 7:01 is 20,000 fans "singing" for almost 30 seconds with no music, no vocal cues just the girls rocking their fists. It's not often that you see 20,000 people do anything for that ling.

That is some creative editing LOL Never seen this before, but you did choose a way which fits the copyright law very well, had a lot of your own content with their content mixed. Thanks for finding a way to upload it ! Such a shame you had problems with it. Because it's a great reaction video. They were 15 and 17 in this video. Always fun seeing a little girl opening up the pit ! :-) They do have English words in their songs or even some songs which have an English version. The musicians in their band really are the some of the best musicians from Japan. They are basically session musicians, doing other projects when they aren't performing (occasionally recording) with Babymetal. What is part of the reason Babymetal is great is because they have a huge variety in their songs. The metal sub-genres or genres of music in their songs. Which again shows the talent of everyone involved. Live Babymetal is best Babymetal for sure ! I would always recommend to go see them. even in 2018, which was a strange year (they lost 2 members, guitarist Mikio had a fatal accident, very sad RIP and Yuimetal left because of health reasons), but after a couple of months getting used to the situation and went with an open mind and still had a blast at the shows. The show in the video was in Japan with 20 000 fans, the shows I went to in Europe was some 2000 people or less, so no big stage production of course. It's funny how many people say who like Babymetal and after just seeing some videos of them for the first time, they ask: "do they tour here ?" :-) The logo has elements of all 3 girls, the cute skull is because of Yui. They are "synchronized" or they are "in sync" when dancing.

Yui and Moa contributed to the official Babymetal logo. Yui drew a skull and Moa drew in the heart, as her motto was always, “Moto mo aio taisetsu ni”- “Cherish love the most”.💪🏻🤘🏻

Thanks for your reaction. I've seen the band live and their stage presence is quite remarkable, especially considering that they were performing live together when Yui and Moa were barely 12. Even those very early performances are very good. You mentioned Yui leaving. She was extremely popular and it was a sad moment for most Babymetal fans. As you said, they are rotating the third member at the present time.

You will hear many suggestions but in reality you really need to do Ijime Dame Zettai from Sonisphere 2014. It is a huge moment in Babymetal history. Besides a single show in Singapore and 2 warm up smaller shows in France Babymetal had not played outside Japan. Then boom at a huge metal fest, known for harsh reactions to bands, there to see Maiden and then 3 young teen Japanese girl’s and some dudes in white hit the stage. It is the moment Babymetal took off outside Japan.

Hey Leech! Awesome reaction! I'm going to see BABYMETAL for the first time during their US tour in 3 weeks! I can't wait! Here's my recommendations for next reactions: "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" Live at Sonisphere 2014 UK - This was the last song of their first big show in the west. They got bumped up to the main stage and the girls were terrified how the UK metal heads would react to them. "Rondo of Nightmare" with Mischiefs of God Intro Budokan Black Night - This is a Su solo song, but it really shows off the Kami Band.

I've seen them LIVE several times, and the best description I have of the energy in the building is that it feels like it did when I saw Pantera in 1991. For their U.S. debut here in Los Angeles, CA, USA in 2014 they absolutely, "Tore The Roof Off Of The Place"!!

Definitely experience BABYMETAL in concert - they are AWESOME live !!! I have been to a double-digit number of concerts (most with VIP tickets), often 3 in a row on the same tour/year, even though I have to travel far to see them... Totally worth it !! They will come to more cities than ever in Europe in February.

Great reaction man!!! They are simple amazing! In that show Su-metal (lead vocals) just turn 17 years old, Moametal and Yuimetal have 15 years old... That is more amazing thing, how three cute and tiny girls kick ass on a stage like it was easy thing, also this show was on the Saitama Super Arena or "SSA" a 20,000 sold out show and their biggest show until this days (not festival) was on the mitic Tokyo Dome in 2016, 55,000 sold out shows, two nights in a row... And they play diferente setlist the two nights, this song Road of Resistance is almos always the ending song of Babymetal but in the first night on Tokyo Dome they opened the show whit this song and was amazing! Great work man i hope to see you reacting to more Babymetal.

I have seen them live 15 times now, and have tickets for the 4 shows in the UK next year, and maybe going to some of the ones in Europe. I have also traveled to Japan to see them, inc the show this video was from. To me it's been worth every penny. Babymetal have won the Kerrang award for best live band in 2016. So YES!!!! go and see them it will be one of the best nights you'll have. You can watch all the live video's of them you want, but you still will not be ready for when they walk on to the stage.

I’ve been going to rock and metal shows since I was a kid in the 80s. I’ve seen just about every legend you can think of. When I got old enough I got a job at two different concert venues. All total I’ve seen at least a thousand shows. Seeing Babymetal live for the first time at two different shows last year was my favorite concert experiences of all time.

Good job getting it past the damn KZfaq algorithm!!!!!! Ijime Dame Zetai live at Sonisphere is well worth watching. Also if you want to see more of the band try Akatsuki (Black Night live) and Rondo of Nightmare with the Mischief of God's Intro...They kick ass!!😁

Another great reaction video! Thank you! I am reliving my experience along with you. I strongly recommend Rondo of Nightmare with the Mischief of the God's intro next. You get to see the Kami band highlighted followed by the Queen Su as many of the fans call her. After that I would recommend Headbanger, either official or the Legend of 1997 Live show. Both are amazing. Something you will notice as you go on this journey is that the songs are varied a lot. They have done a great job at mixing things up with the style and sound of each song. I look forward to seeing the next video, I am really enjoying this. Thanks for sharing it!

Small Skull 💀 is designed by Yuimetal. She love Skull as cool from low teen. She designed Skull for T-shirt. So this is a symbol for Yuimetal. In BABYMETAL logo, Su-metal is symbolized with Wings. Because Su-metal sung the song title " Wings " at Karen Girls before. Moametal is symbolized heart ❤️, because her name means beloved, her mother named it and her mother say Moa that Cherish love most. She designed Hearts for T-shirt. All their symbols are included in BABYMETAL logo. Other their symbols: Thunderbolt ⚡️is symbolize Su-metal, because when Su-metal sign to fan, she use ⚡️ for S. Probably she thought it cool. Su-metal is also symbolized with Sunflower 🌻 which she designed for T-shirt. Yuimetal is symbolized with Tomato 🍅, because she like Sweet Tomatoes. Headbangeeeeeer, Live at Makuhari Messe. This is the best song of them imo. With Moa and Yui uses these smoke cannons at the crowd. It's so cute AND very Metal!

I've been to a concert in Berlin in 2015, I think, it was their first world tour and it was amazing. Just a small venue, though, like 3000 people and nothing compared to this live performance you reacted to, but still so new and refreshing at the time. Oh, and so very, very, VERY weird and japanese. Loved it and hope they come to Berlin once again at some point.

Some of the other facts you talked/asked about: Yes, their biggest show at the time, their own arena show 20 000 people sold out in Jan. 2015 (Road of Resistance was the last song), before that in 2014 they played 2 sold out days at the prestigious Nippon Budokan, followed by their first world tour. Their 3rd performance of that tour was at the Sonisphere in the UK in front of their biggest crowd at the time, some 50 000 to 60 000 people, mostly fans of Iron Maiden, Anthrax, etc. By late 2016 they had their second album and, played at the prestigious Wembley Arena and later that year sold out 2 Stadium shows in Tokyo Dome, 55 000 people.

The album release show on October 11th, 2019 at the LA Forum will be my fifth time seeing them live. The video you just watched was filmed at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) in Japan. 20,000 people. If you want a really big show, they sold out Tokyo Dome two nights in a row, with 55,000 people per night.

They'll be touring in Februari in Berlin and Koln my neighbour :) I'm Belgian and I bought my tickets a few weeks ago to see them in Brussels, it's around 12-18th februari for Germany if I recall correctly :)

Interesting, Road of Resistance getting blocked is new, IIRC. Apparently Amuse have decided they haven't been stupid enough so far. I have only been to three of their shows, and those were not comparable to what you have just seen. In Europe it's mostly shows with an audience of about 2000 - 4000 people. But that doesn't mean it's less exciting. Seeing their smiles and hearing their voices up close is awesome, and the audience is always wild, but also friendly. It's definitely worth it, you should really consider going. They are playing in Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin next year. My next recommendation would be a song called "Akatsuki". Death, Black, Viking, Djent, Nu, Thrash...... pick a Metal sub-genre and Babymetal probably has a song using it. But they also incorporate music from other genres outside of Metal such as Dubstep, EDM, Reggae, Swing, Rap, Techno-pop among others. This is not a simple band but one that uses the diversity in the wide ranges of musical styles to make music that is new and alway recognizable as Babymetal!!! Put your Kitsune UP!! Po!

@@charly_tan So how would you classify Meta Taro ? From an interview: "the men singing are real Vikings !" (I assume that means: people from Scandinavia with Viking in the blood so to say)

Are you saying men are singing in Meta Taro? I haven't listened to it in awhile, I don't recall any men's voices. If there are, they're certainly not literal vikings as no vikings have existed in many centuries. I always thought Meta Taro was based on Japanese baseball chants. It's basic metal in the vein of Sabaton or Alestorm, with a faint 'folk' vibe. Oh Majinai off the new album seems to be following that direction a little more seriously. File them both under folk metal.

@@charly_tan Yes, there are men doing the chants, 'Meta, Meta, Meta', and the "Vikings" name for the men is attributed to them by Babymetal themselves in an interview I beleive. And I always like to think of Nightwish as my 'go to' Viking band too....LoL!!! (yes, I know they are symphonic metal). Viking = Nordic Folk ... if it makes it easier for you.

Huh. Well, luckily there was no raping and pillaging, eh? :) I admit I'm not at all familiar with Nightwish, I'll have to give them a go at some point. I have heard of them though and I think you're right, they're symphonic metal. If they have songs about vikings then it shows how the subject matter can be used in different genres - folk, symphonic, black metal, etc. Yeah, if you're Scandinavian doing the folky thing it's likely to get all vikingy up in there..

Subscribed and rung the bell! Yes the skull in the Babymetal logo was actually drawn by Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal) when she was around 10 - 11yrs old in Sakura Gakuin, then later used on the official Babymetal logo. Her skull drawing was part of a limited Sakura Gakuin members clothing design line run, made by japanese clothing company Comme Ca. Been a fan for a while but finally got to see BabyMetal live in Brixton, London this year and it was the craziest experience of my life! It was so incredible that I bought tickets to their next London show February next year the minute they were released! Only down side is if you're on the shorter side like me and my friend were, it can sometimes be hard to see the stage haha.. Wore myself out by constantly jumping 😂

Great reaction ,chills goosbumps and smiles always get them with BabyMetal. Tip for knowing the orginal line up before Yui left is every performance up to Legend S show in December 2017 was orginal line up .Legend S was the first show all 3 did not perform due to Yui illness/injury . They performed as duo for that show. 2018 onwards only Su and Moa left of original 3. 🤘😁🤘

did you enjoy it until water came out of your eyes? but indeed Babymetal is very interesting all people from various backgrounds, they are very phenomenal. the collaboration that was compiled greatly surprised all the listeners who had just heard it and seen it. This is a babymetal that is able to make the metal very fascinated because the message they convey with compositions that are considered rare or even no one can duplicate a class of Babymetal, too hypocritical when everyone thinks they are very strange and so on. all of them who thought it strange and so were imprisoned by their own idealists on the metal engraved in their brains! but in reality for him babymetal is very well liked by everyone especially metalhead. welcome to the One bro..\v/

While the Wooah oh part is repetitive, when you think about it it's perfect for a live performance. Doesn't matter what language you speak, you can repeat that easily, which means no one who wants to sing along is left out.

The skull and the heart in the logo are drawn by Yui and Moa and they had them on T-shirts when performing in Sakura Gaukin before Baby Metal. There is one part from Su also in the flag, but I am not sure what.

Jup, ich war schon auf unzähligen Festivals und Konzerten, aber nix schlägt eine BABYMETAL Liveshow, hab sie bis jetzt 5x gesehen, letztes Jahr in Innsbruck und heuer 4x in Japan (2x Yokohama und 2x Nagoya), ich hab dir glaub ich sogar n link zu deren Metal Galaxy World Tour 2020 gepostet, mitte Februar sind sie in Hamburg, Wien, Köln und Berlin, die Tickets für die deutschen Shows sind fast ausverkauft.. also falls du gedenkst zu gehen, würd ichs frühzeitig entscheiden xD (Ich hab jetzt schon Karten für: Wien, Köln, Brüssel und Tilburg und werd im Oktober 2020 wieder nach Japan fliegen) Als nächste reaction würd ich "Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014" empfehlen ;)

@@autohmae yeah, they're just the GA ones, a few vip are left and at some shows even chosen one are still buyable, but i guess for a first time, GA is totally fine :o

@@ThorfinnrKarrson Babymetal is funny that way, you'd never expected 3 girls (2 now I guess) would be a reason to travel. LOL Not your average band, but they do tick all the right boxes: talent, loud high energy music and performance, well basically a visual and auditory attack on the sense. :-)

Sometimes Su sings a song or two by herself (to give the other two a break). There are many examples, but this is a good one to react to - Akatsuki (Red Moon) performed by Su with the Kami Band live when she was only 16. The stage presence and performance is quite wonderful. Tears of joy..........like my first encounter of this band........tears comming and you dont why at first! Great reaction mate! Where you from? Sounds like Poland or Slavakia.......dosnt matter. Just beeing curious. BTW Babymetal starting a world tour right now and I´ve got a ticket allready for my B.day :) Btw: DragonForce did collaberate with the Band for this song!

A small peculiarity I hear in some forms of Japanese music is use of English words and phrases. Sometimes do and sometimes doesn't make a clarity to what is being conveyed by the song.

I guess, I can write in German..... Mir hat das video eigentlich sehr gut gefallen, es ist gut produziert und auch deine Reaktionen darauf waren sehr schön anzusehen. Was mir leider nicht gefallen hat, waren die Fakten, die du im Hintergrund eingesprochen hast, da man die zum einen nur schwer verstehen konnte, mit dem Lied im Vordergrund, zum anderen aber auch dieses starke Feeling aus dem Lied genommen haben, für mich als Zuseher. Klar könnte ich mir einfach das Original ansehen, aber ich habe ja genau deshalb auf dieses Video geklickt, weil ich beides erleben wollte. Das Lied und deine Reaktion darauf. Ich hätte es besser gefunden, wenn es als Text Form eingeblendet, oder davor, bzw danach erzählt wird. Abgesehen davon sehr ich mir gerne mehr davon an. Lg

@@LeechTMReacts hmm, das ist wirklich schade, dass die da so scharf darauf sind. Das Problem kenne ich nur zu gut, aber da ich KZfaq nur zum Zeitvertreib mache, ist es mir egal. Nun, dann viel Erfolg beim nächsten Video, dass dieses nicht geblockt wird. 6 Monate seit dem Upload sind ja eine lange Zeit, hoffe du bist noch dran am Babymetal 😅. Als Alternative kann ich dir " X Japan " ans Herz legen, die haben ebenfalls eine ziemlich bewegende Karriere hinter sich, mit einigen großen Hits und einigen kuriosen Mitgliedern. 😁 LG.

If you want to check out more Japanese bands. check out Band-maid. Nice mixture of rock, metal, prog, pop. Enormously talented! Tunes? Thrill, Dice, Alone, Play, Moratorium etc etc! ;)

I recommend heavily ++ BAND-MAID ++! Japanese Hard Rock all Girl Band. Play their Instruments themselves LIKE GODS and are like best Hard rock Band i've ever heard. Discovered them myself 5months ago. They gonna blow your Mind try "turn me on - Live" "Real Existence Live" "Moratorium - live" "Puzzle - Live" "Play - Live" and there are many more

Check the Babymetal Reaction Resource channel. They have normal videos for you to react to, and the same video with a big watermark for you to show your audience and avoid copyright

Great reaction. I'm assuming the annoying voiceover is for copyright reasons. If not limit or get rid of.. But you get BM so nice.. I dont think it requires that much vo though..

This concert was for Su Metal's 16th Birthday and the song is usually the opening song (a bit shorter than this version) but in this case it was the last song. The end representing Su's rise from a human to a Metal Goddess.

Great reaction and I like the facts you added to your video. You talked about the skull in the logo. Here is a video when the BabyMetal girls were still in Sakura Gakuin (Cherry Blossom Academy). Little Moa and Yui are in black tee shirts one of them Yui has the skull on the shirt.
