The Gannet stood out with its smartly designed internal bomb bay in the fuselage. It was the first British aircraft in Fleet Air Arm service to store all its munitions internally, except for rockets.

If only I could set up a fund to get her back in the air... She desperately needs a buyer. What'd be really cool is to get her back to the UK where she belongs.

There are plans to ship her back to the UK soon and it is hoped that she will be operated by the Navy Wings Heritage Flight based at RNAS Yeovilton

@@alexanderwalley2639- Love some Drumstick action ! I fly mine quite often. Unfortunately mine is powered by a ducted fan and will fit in the back of my Chrysler Voyager. I can go downtown anytime I want though ! 😁
