Beef is allowed in a lot of states. Its a state matter. Different states have different laws. For instance in states like Kerala, Goa and North Eastern states beef is legal. But the lynchings happen when the cattle smugglers steal cattle. Its much akin to an American protecting his/her property in a red state with guns. Cows are a source of food, nutrients & essentially livelihood. People tend to get upset if anything happens to them especially in rural impoverished areas.

Cows are sacred but on the name of this doing lynching is completely nonsense and radical thing. Unfortunately this does happen but not very common. But it does happen.

no he is the same guy kareem who did not stand up for national anthem and got beat up then on next day he saw the news of hindus beating muslims for beef transport .. kareem is indian.. u know in india there are many muslims who dont stand up for national anthem or say vande matram(it is a saying in sanskrit meaning i worship my motherland india) .. they are not pakistanis they are indian but sadly it happens

2002 riots happened after Muslim mob burned a train full of Hindu pilgrimage. Hindu-Muslims riots are not a new thing. It's been going since independence when British divided the Indian sub-continent on the basis of religion. The hatred has been spewed by British since the tookover India as their divide and rule policy. Also root causes of these violences dates back to Mughal invasion of India when India has been forcefully took over by Muslim rulers. They destroyed Indian temples, universities and other Indian traditions.
