Gary got it spot on about the Liverpool ownership, their shortcomings have been masked by Klopp. Carra and Paul the Liverpool fan are defending them for whatever reason, but we're in for some tough times when Klopp leaves us.

@@Jporter196Liverpool has one of the worse midfield in the top 6 teams, you don't have any established DM and you're chasing after a 19 year old DM, no adequate replacement for Henderson, TAA and Robertson aren't really reliable when it comes to defending, you only have 3 established CBs and you think everything is okay with Liverpool

5:16 what we saw at the world cup is that first few games where teams were wasting time, the time got added on properly and eventually all teams stopped wasting time uselessly and therefore the extra time minutes came down a bit. I reckon similar will happen in PL

@@nextgenkilla7645They need a set time for goal kicks, corners, celebrations, subs, throw ins etc. If say we give keepers 10s to take goal kicks and someone takes 30s, the difference is added on (20s). There has to be consequences for time wasting but you’re right, not everything needs to be added.

Foden is England's Dybala. Nobody knows where to put them and they are both amazing players. Players like that are a coach's best friend on the bench. Perfect players to fill in at more then 1 or 2 positions. Why would you play those players and keep your better one dimensional players on the bench. I would want choices towards the end of the game. Some players play themselves into these types of roles. It's a shame but also a compliment of how dynamic certain players are.

An excellent Premier league overview on the overlap. Looking forward to the 2023-2024 season. I see a 4 team race for the title this year as Man city, although a great team, are not as strong as they were last year. Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United will challenge. I love the underdog so Luton home games are going to be a highlight, especially if they win one or two. As for relegation, I see, Wolverhampton, Sheffield and Luton going down. Bring it on...watching from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Werner played a big part in Chelsea’s CL win too Jamie Carragher. If you are to use Havertz winning goal in the final to say he is good. You got to praise Werner for the role he played to get to the final and in the final. His pace was crucial. Can’t have been such a disaster since he started in the final.

He's right about Havertz though. You lot just paid 70 mil for a donkey who doesn't even have a position. Havertz was awful for us and we were laughing at the fact that someone was ready to pay that kind of money.

To add to Nick's tale of woe, looks like Berge is leaving as well. What Paul Heckingbottom has done at SUFC given the off-field drama and uncertainty is an unbelievable achievement. I don't think he gets the recognition because he's not a big name like V.Kompany. Not often a promoted team start the season weaker than the prior season, so expect a tough time but you never know. Everyone wrote us off last time and we finished 9th first season...

I think the point is that people like Rory Jennings don't offer much in the way of a useful opinion and view cos he doesn't actually know much about football, he just wants to create narratives and storylines cos it gets views so it feels like a waste of space when that's his only contribution. The new rules are good imo. Hopefully this will lead to players not time wasting as much. I agree that the players are playing too many games, but that shouldn't be solved through having shorter games that are unfairly shortened when one of the teams have been time wasting.

@@randomdaveUKAverage prem game is currently 62 mins ball in play. Make it 70 and stop the clock when it goes and out, then the next time the ball is out of play after 70 mins, blow up.

@@tomben6180 or we get to the point when we actually get 90mins of play. They can manage it in rugby. 80mins, clock is stopped for decisions etc, everyone knows what happens at 80 the next time the ball goes out of play... End of the match.

As a Chelsea fan Havertz going to arsenal didn't bother me as he wasn't great at all. Very inconsistent and the fact that we got £70 million for him pretty much what we paid for him is incredible business by Chelsea! Kovacic going to Manchester city was understandable. Don't get me wrong he is a fantastic player but he was very injury prone so you kinda understand it. Kante going to Saudi Arabia again you can understand it. He is an absolute legend of the club but over the last 2 seasons he was becoming very injury prone and now starting to age aswell so it just made perfect sense to allow him to move on. But Mason mount going to Manchester United was awful 😢 generally one of our best players over the last 2-3 seasons and going to a rival team aswell, yh that one hurt the most as a Chelsea supporter😥 Any Chelsea fan who isn't a fake one knows how good Mason mount was on his day! So that one is definitely by far the worst sale out of the lot in my opinion 🤷♀️

Are people forgetting that they implemented this added on time rule in the world cup? Then after the group stages it went from 10+ minutes added on each game, too 5 or 6 because it cut down on time wasting. If in November it's still like this then yes it should be addressed but I think we should just see if it works and then go from there
