Gary Oldman is an amazing character actor. One of his best cameos ever is in True Romance (it also has an amazing appearance from Brad Pitt). Him making a classic character all his own is featured in Bram Stoker's Dracula. And to get a taste of him at his most despicable, you'd want to check out Leon: The Professional. 😉

One of my all time favorite movies, Jean Paul Gaultier did the costumes including the aliens. I’ve seen it so many times. I do love this movie, the visuals, the mixture of comedy, suspence and a bit of not too graphic violence. Bruce willis was always sexy. Very enteraining and a good mood lifter. It’s a fun movie underrated. And every minute is a surprise. I can’t think of another movie like it, the characters are over the top. You could slip into Chris Tucker mode if you wanted to!

This is one of my favorite movies just cause its so out there. Not sure if you know this but Mia Jovovich (yo-vo-vich) was a model before she was an actress. The movie I know her from is Kuffs and she was not an action star in that one. You should definitely check it out as it is a pretty good movie with Christian Slater. Armageddon is a good movie you should check out but my favorite Bruce Willis movie is "The Jackal" with Richard Gere. I really enjoy your reactions and can't wait for more 80s-90s movies or musicals (which I know are hard to post).

regarding armageddon: it's not a bad movie per se, definitely worth a watch but if you find yourself enjoying the main storyline i would definitely recommend watching Deep Impact (1998) as well. basically the same premise only way better execution and less blockbuster-y. (also if you feel like existential sci-fi i recommend Contact (1997) or if you feel like watching something that is scientifically absolutely inaccurate but entertaining as heck watch The Core (2003))

Monster Hunter (I've not seen it yet... don't know if its good or not, but it's probably something I'd want to see, but I've lost a lot of interest in movies, thanks/no-thanks to the gov lockdown and the subsequent krap leftard quality of failure movies that're being pumped out, sighs, and because of the gov-lockdown, going to the theatre is just too expensive, as they have to try to make back the money they lost due to the gov-shudown, sighs, along with everything else inflating in price, as well, sighs, even fast food has become a "luxury item" now, sighs) X. Dazed and Confused (this is a popular comedy-romance/rom-com movie, but I've not seen it myself) X. Zoolander (unfortunately, I have seen this movie, wished I hadn't, lol, was not a fan of it at all, laughs) X. The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (I don't think I ever saw this, but the cover of her character, does look familiar, maybe I saw it aired on tv at some much later time, meh) X. The Three Musketeers (a failed attempted remake of the old disney 3 musketeers in the 90s, I think, which disney has tried to erase from the public knowledge, sighs, as it was really good and funny, as all this krappy remake really had was good action/fight scenes) and a ton of other movies... while, for most (her breakout role) people/americans (myself included), the 5th Element, was our first introduction to her, wowing many males with her beauty... ya, at that time, it was more beauty than thicc-ness, (pamela lee anderson of baywatch was the thicc-ness back then), when much later we get kim k and everyone else... but she was actually doing tv shows and movies long before then, as a child/teen actress, including her role in the 'Return of Blue Lagoon' (a popular movie sequel way back then), with Brooke Shields, another beautiful popular star actress, which was controversial, as they were teens (milla was only 15), yet had n'de scenes... I've only known her for her "super-hero / non-human" roles too, as that's the only movies I've been interested in seeing with her, but she's done other genre (drama/romance/etc of movies too (and roles within them) ... ------------- Bruce Willis: obviously, he's got/done a f-ton of movies... but these are the good ones that I like/seen 1. 12 Monkeys 2. Die Hard franchise (but my favorite is 'Live free or die hard', the 4th die hard) 3. Pulp fiction 4. The 5th Element 5. Unbreakable (much later would be made into a trilogy: Unbreakable, Split, and Glass) 6. Sin City 7. The Expendables series/trilogy (I think he's in all of them, but maybe not) 8. Red (1+2) not my favorites, but still enjoyable/fun/good to watch: X. Armageddon X. The Sixth Sense X. Surrogates X. Looper X. G.I. Joe: Retaliation (sequel, #2) // not really that good, the first was a lot better, but he wasn't in the 1st X. Prince was actually wanted for the role Chris Tucker plays but due to other commitments he was unable to take the role so Chris Tucker acted like Prince instead. The amount of hate Chris Tucker got for this role from the black community when this movie came out was insane. The director Luc Beeson was actually married to the alien opera diva at the time of the movie but by the time it premiered they were getting divorced as Mila Jovovich was pregnant with his child. They kept their affair secret by only speaking to each other in the divine language that she speaks in the movie as they were the only two who spoke it as he made it up.
