Jay Williams at the end throws the ball to Maryland center😂😂😂 Savage.

The second time they came back on Maryland that season.

I'd say 3rd time they came back. Duke started the game in a 10-0 hole against Maryland in the ACC semifinals. (Duke ended up getting even at 12-12 and they weren't down that much the rest of the game)

The first time was 1 min left with no Time outs, down by 10 lol

Such a great rivalry. I hate that league realignment has made it so they no longer play.

Same with Terps minus Mouton. Blake-pro, Dixon Pro, Baxter Pro, Wilcox pro.

Dayum. This team really knew how to win.

I always thought that this might very well have been Duke's best team. I know 91-92 went #1 wire to wire and was one of the greatest teams of all time, but I think this Duke team had more overall talent than 91-92.
@juandufree43092 жыл бұрын
91-92 had the two greatest players in Duke history, 00-01 had the better team
@patrickegan6203 Жыл бұрын
98-99 should have won the championship that was probably the best team
@TeddyKGB12 Жыл бұрын
@@patrickegan6203 Perhaps. Very good team, but they couldn't get it done in the Final. The 00-01 team had all 5 starters become starters in the NBA.

92 duke was onne of the greatest mens teams ever. Went 34-2 versus much tougher competition. Much stronger bench. 01 is my favorite team but no match for the 92 squad. The 98 and 99 teams would give them major issues also imo.

I live in Maryland and a HUGE Duke fan I’d love going to work after Maryland would lose to Duke Maryland fans were funny and had so many excuses of why they lost to Duke

Terps were too young and Gary Williams did not do a good enough job to getvthwm home . Both team and coach didn't know how to win the big one yet. Terps could of easily won back to back titles. Still got one in 2002 and back to back final 4. Early 2000s Duke and Terps teams were two of the best college ball teams I've ever seen

@@scythecam yes, thats about the only way. The refereed the momentum into dukes favor. I think those duke teams(battierwilliamsdunleavy) were some of the best teams to play college basketball. Big unc fan. Go heels. But i enjoyed what the blue devios had those years. Jason williams pro, dunleavy pro, boozer pro, duhon pro, battier pro. Coach k demigod. And baxtor and nelson were decent off the bench.should have won 2 championships imo.they truely were the super team of that span.
