On that tool itself how did you determine the holes for the wingnuts for 1brick, 1.5brick etc

hey rob. i had a go at this at college and managed to get the pier plumb in 14 courses using only a 1200 level. i wish i could afford one of your jigs as i so want one ;)

You need to explain how the holes for the nut and bolt are set, for someone who wants to make his own indexing squares. As in the distance from the right angle.
