For sure. This is just the unboxing of the bike. I then gets gone over with a torque wrench thereafter.

@@MotoCityTV i figure you do but i still check them, i had a bad deal on a new bike years ago. I think of that moment everytime i get riding. Back then i never understood torque as i was maybe 17.

If it's a fastener that goes into plastic it's fine. Metal? Yes totally wrong unless you like ruining things

This was getting the bike out of the box. The PREP of the bike before delivery is much more involved and does require a torque wrench on all parts!

This here is just the assembly so we can roll it to the floor. The PREP the bike gets before we give it to a customer - that should be another video. Great idea! Thanks for watching.

What did I learn, I need pliers to help install foot pegs, lol and a small driver that you can set the torque. nice to see bikes are almost ready to go, and I wish they stayed so shiny for a longer period, lol Thanks for sharing!!

Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, KTM does a great job at packaging them well in a mostly assembled state. Our final prep once purchased entails checking torque of all major bolts, topping of fluids and making sure all systems are good to go. The little digital torque adapters are amazing. Thanks for watching. Oh... and SC1 also known as New Bike in a Can is our favorite after-ride remedy ;)

We think it's because the general public does not get to see nor knows how these bike arrive... So to see how their bike was "prepped at the factory" and what we need to do to it when it arrives is interesting to them.

Good catch! I had to go back and watch it again. All stands should have a 1/4" to 1/2" thick piece of rubber riveted to the top. We will get that fixed! Thanks for watching!

This is the unboxing. Before delivery they lube bearings, check all fluid levels and torque all bolts. Final Prep.

I guess they have no choice due to economics, but I hate things cranked on with those impact guns.

Totally understood. This is just the quick unboxing, making the bike roll-able to the showroom floor. Once the bike is sold it is looked over with a fine tooth comb AND a Torque Wrench putting all bolts to factory spec as well as fluids, and any moving parts. Thanks for watching!
