★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in Fruit Nation)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, and items received in the wild are randomized.
-If we black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types in each persons party

Fruit, I beg of you, please get the old rod. It’s to the left of jubilife city, talk to the npcs in the building that leads to the lake. At this stage it gives you another three encounters immediately (the lake next to jubilife city, the home town, and I think the beach near sandgem town where the professor’s lab is)

I had no idea a thumbnail could evoke so many emotions at once. Do they catch a Mewtwo? Do they fail to catch one? Does a trainer bring one out and completely obliterate them? I MUST KNOW!

Hey mister fruit you and blue have inspired a friend of mine and i to start a randomized soul lock of our own and it has been just as rough for us as you and blue, the run would have been dead in the first route because a dialga was my first encounter and it was a close one but luckily i caught it i believe that you guys will prevail because it's all 'For the CONTENT'

7:28 There are 18 Pokemon types, but for this nuzlocke there are only 16. Fairy is obviously excluded but flying is also excluded because the type is almost exclusively a secondary type, and the Pokemon who have flying as their primary type (Tornadus, Noibat line, Rookiedee line, and Cramorant) aren't in this gen.

Mr fruit! I know there is a setting in the randomizer to set max evolution levels… if you’re gonna have all the NPCs max out you should set it so everything evolves for you at 40-45 also, it would seem fair! People love to see those Pokémon on your team too! Plus they you can make the game more difficult in other ways rather than hey here’s 10 Pokémon you just can’t use

I don't usually go for Nuzlockes, or much in the way of any pokemon content from anyone.... but I have been REALLY enjoying this playthrough so far. The back and forth with Blue and Fruit is probably the reason I'm into it as much as I am. It's one series I'm going to follow to the end for sure :). I really hope nothing happens to Star/Oco (you know, for Blue :P)

Tell Blue that Sturdy in Gen 4 only negates against the OHKO moves like Sheer Cold or Fissure. It doesn't work like it does in Gen 5 and onward when it lives on 1 hp.

Blue, Skarmory is fantastic but PLEASE don’t forget, Gen 4 sturdy is so bad. It only protects you from moves like guillotine and horn drill, it doesn’t protect you from getting one shot, like in Gen 5

Blue started off with heat thanks to Charizard however I think if I were to describe Mr.Fruits team in 1 Word it would be *Patience*, since if he plays his cards right he could end up with a monster of a team.....just needs time lol.
