★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in Fruit Nation)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, and items received in the wild are randomized.
-If we black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types across both parties
-No pair may share the same primary typing

Also make sure you fix the pairings eventually! You mixed up two of the pairs. The actual pairs are Dusknoir/Dodrio and Nidoqueen/Lickitung, not the other way around. Edit: IGNORE THIS! They are the actual pairs of Dusknour/Lickitung and Nidoqueen/Dodrio.

Y’know what I would change in the battling system? Like Blue said, make it like Final Fantasy turn based, while having it real time, but also include clashes and stuff, like the actual show. You know, where Pikachu would use its electricity to climb Mega Gyarados’ tornado in the Sun and Moon series, and stuff like that. I would want to involve more freedom, more creativity and action for the player, making them use their brain to strategize and think outside the box

It would be really cool if for every battle you fought in a 1 on one platform fight and all the moves can still crit and be stronger against typing but you could also dodge and switch Pokémon. Maybe your moves are each connected to one of the buttons like smash. That would be cool

I think Blue's got the right idea with the battle system. Do it like FFX implement an ATB bar for the order of turns so you see who goes first, and who goes next. Up the base battle to 2v2 with an atb gauge. Then movespeed starts to become a more important aspect of the game.
