★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in Fruit Nation)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, and items received in the wild are randomized.
-If we black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types across both parties
-No pair may share the same primary typing

The most important part of a nuzlocke is the player’s enjoyment/challenge. The fact that people are saying that they won’t give this Locke a chance really upsets me. Just remember, the majority of us will always be here for your decisions wether or not we agree. TLDR: The most important part of the Locke is you and Blue. Just have fun with it 💕

Honestly in the first episode when you were explaining rules I was like wait a minute how many types are there this gen and it made me question as to why you guys each were allowed the same types. As far as the rule change goes I think it will definitely make the run more interesting. For me one of my favorite parts of all the nuzlockes is growing attached to a pokemon I wouldn't normally use. This rule should make you guys have entire team comps that you've never used before and I'm here for it. Much love fruit I hope the change haters don't bring you down.

Woohoo, double episode!! Just wanna comment on the added rule again, since it vanished with the previous/next video (confusing myself here)... Personally, I was skeptical to the new rules (didn't leave a negative comment or dislike, dw), a little bit because I'm not a huge fan of changes in general, because I sometimes struggle just keeping track of things, whatever they are, but it was primarily because I was afraid you had seen comments saying it was too easy, and felt forced to make it harder. Your explanation made me sure that wasn't the case, though I don't really feel like it should have been necessary for you to address, but at least it just shows that you're playing how you want, and that you are willing to take the time to address it for the people who didn't like it so that maybe they can find more enjoyment from it, and I really respect you for that, keep up the CHANTENT:)

I personally love this new update. It brings a new dynamic to getting encounters and discussing what pairs to use over others. I watched all your nuzlockes, and this personally is my favorite so far. Ps: Male pokemon name, Milin :)

A lot of the Pokémon I remember are the ones you thought were bad at first, then came in clutch for a while, then tragically died in an unforeseen circumstance. Rip Escavilier. Love the series and all the rules. Keep making the game the way you want to make it.

Fruit, I can honestly say I'm with you, 100% on the harder rules. This is meant to be a maximum challenge, and if it's harder they are inevitably more memorable. That Nuzlocke where the conkeldurr wiped your locke, and then you got Conkeldurr as your starter was the best series, and that was the self-proclaimed Scufflocke. When you start dominating it becomes boring. So good on you for changing the rules, and never question your decisions.

I’ve actually fallen off on some of your other nuzlockes as they got deeper and deeper in because it didn’t feel like there were as many stakes as you went on, so for me on top of you having more fun, I’m glad that I get to watch RNGesus troll you and watch you struggle even farther in the nuzlocke, so don’t sweat it! Plus all of your content is the most fun to watch when you’re having fun from 60 second NLB reviews to TTT and nuzlockes! Love you Fruit!!!

I get where you are coming from, I appreciate the intro/explanation, I initially didn't like the change not sure how I feel about it now. For me personally I get the greatest enjoyment when you get like a super sick poekmon and can catch it, I do see how making it harder can bring a larger high when that moment comes. I mainly had a problem because Xaviery and Ubermench were sick and now we will never see them again. Still love you fruit, watched all you Pokémon nuzlocks and will continue too.

I love this series and the rule change to make it harder. What makes a series like this so good is the constant suspense of knowing at any given moment you and your partners pokemon could be killed off forever. I'd like to propose making it even harder by greatly limiting the number of potions or heals allowed to be used.

I said it on the "original" upload and I'll say it here too. People are annoyed about the rule change cause they want it to be THEIR locke, it's not....it you and blue's locke. Play it the way you want to play it. Most of us are just happy to get a second high quality content every day.

Hey Fruit, considering your probably about 10 episodes ahead of what’s being uploaded, I thought I’d leave a tip for roughly the point I think you and Blue are at. Once you get surf, you can surf up the route you caught Dusknoir on and get to the *Valley Ironworks* for an extra encounter, it’s a spot that a lot of nuzlockers forget about. Nickname: Pickles

My favorite part of these nuzlock runs is that you actually get to try Pokémon you normally wouldn’t go for. I find that exciting because, often times, it’s a Pokémon I’ve never tried either! Have fun Fruit, I’ll keep watching no matter what :)

I honestly love the new rule. Sure, there are some cool Pokémon that you inevitably won’t be able to use, but having a harder time getting a team of six is very interesting to me. In fact, maybe in your next nuzlocke you can limit your party to 4 Pokémon or something.

I love you Mr. Fruit. Don’t worry about changing the rules. I’m still excited for this nuzlocke, and this is the reason why my friends and I started a randomized three person platinum soul link. A three person soul link is torture. We’ve done seven runs and none have gotten to the first gym because we keep losing encounters until our starters are all level 20 and can’t breath on a wild Pokémon but still get wrecked by trainers.

As long as you and Blue are cool with the rule change, that's cool with me. It makes sense to play by the normal rules of a soullink. Keep up the content!
