I've been waiting for this review! I saw it on Sunday, and my biggest criticism is that this movie could have been 1hr 45min. It started to drag by the end and didn't need to be 2hrs

This one was farrrrr better than immaculate for me. There’s some imagery here thats forever seared into my brain😂 Similar concepts but this one feels soooo much more unnerving. I think part of that is from the sound design of the constant whispers and singing. Also some great cinematography here that leaves you questioning what’s in the shadows but also makes something so creepy somehow look beautiful 💀

the first omen is a better immaculate imo its really good at keeping that uneasy disturbing atmosphere with the music sounds and just disturbing imaginary throughout the whole film i wish the exorcist believer had this much passion in it would have been awesome

At first I wasn’t hype for this movie at all and I expected for this movie to suck but after watching the trailer at the movies for Godzilla X Kong and hearing all these positive reviews I’m actually hype for the movie now and will be definitely watching this movie.

I liked this a lot. It could stand as its own film seperate from the omen franchise with a few adjustments.

If it's as good as you say, hopefully good word of mouth with improve it's box office. The First Omen opened fourth at the box office the past weekend so it's struggling right now. I think people are weary of seeing horror reboots ie. Halloween, Exorcist Believer.

I really dug the movie! Prob a 4/5 for me. It hasn't been a great year for horror (yet), but this is my #2 so far - my #1 is the Korean film, Exhuma. Still not quite a perfect 5/5, but highly recommended.

Me here thinking the first omen was gonna be this cheap unnecessary prequel that I wasn’t gonna like. Then I watched the movie today came out loving it which completely shocked me. It was a 8.5/10 one of the best horror prequels and the way the movie ends off teasing a potential sequel I will be seated. I was genuinely disturbed and unnerved a couple of times in the movie. The lead was great like seriously we need her in more horror movies. Me wondering what that NC-17 cut would’ve looked like. Late night with the devil, immaculate, and the first omen being the best horror movies of the year is correct cause oof it was a rough start of the year with the horror movies that came out. I’m so excited for the maxxxine trailer next week on Monday.

I love the original omen trilogy! I had no idea this was coming out, lol. Ironically, I'm not a fan of religious horror either. The originals are dealing with how people deal with it and the Omen fins are quite slow. Especially the second, lol.
