The Fixer is a British drama television series, produced by Kudos for ITV. Set in modern Britain, it follows the life of John Mercer, an ex-British Special Forces soldier, arrested by police for killing his aunt and uncle following his discovery of their abuse of his sister, Jess Mercer. John Mercer is released early from prison to serve in a covert state security squad as a government-backed assassin responsible for eliminating criminals and renegade police officers that the law cannot apprehend.

Probably one of my favourite episodes (despite the fanciful storyline) - Mercer's calm acceptance of his possible fate 18:31 plus the tussle with Manuela 24:10 in the moonlight. As ever cinematography is excellent.

Loved Finch in this one, it's so hard to play these characters well, theyre hardened hitmen but still have to play the emotions, some brilliant brilliant acting in this episode. Im sorry to say i never watched this when it was first shown but im hooked on it here. I especially have a soft spot for Callum, I love his childlike nature and hope his sweet nature isnt completely destroyed as the series continues. Thanks for the upload!

Viewers are fickle. This series came to an end because something caught the eye of the viewers and this series ratings went down the tube, so to speak. Pity.

This is a chance for John Mercer and Patrick Finch, his predecessor, to take out Lenny. Does John believe Lenny Douglas about Finch? It could have been a perfect opportunity to let, even encourage, Finch to Kill Lenny, but Finch suddenly got a conscience. He realized that now his conscience is activated ' it's over '. He could no longer kill and no longer live with what he'd done. Callum is the only other character who appears to have a conscience. Does Mercer have a conscience? Will he always be killer or become a murderer like Lenny Douglas or Rose? Rose says ' Someone has got to do what we do John. Somebody's got to patch up the sewers. ' Funny, Rose and Lenny are the sewers. Rose was/still is a crooked Cop just like Lenny Douglas. Whereas Mercer is still only a killer, Rose and Lenny are murderers.

***** ....Episode 6 is on here....what is the reason that you could not access that one,only? Did you try again...I realize that you comment is 5 months,ago...Perhaps,it would come up for you,now. I have just finished 5 and am about to call up the 6th.Do you know if,there is a season 2 anywhere?I have not seen any mention of it,anywhere!

***** ...if you call up the ep5 that you watched and once,it is playing finish it,by clicking the end of the bar.Then,the squares of next movies will come up.It should be,in 1 of those squares or in the column to the right.....would be the top one. As for season 2,this uploader said he would be showing them,in a week o so...but,he never bothered doing the uploading....I checked his channel....not there. I thought that another guy had done so...he is,in that column,to the right....with a long name alloneword...ending in chanel....but,his episodes(full) are incomplete...a farce....1: ? and 7:30mins...how do you have such short ones. I gather that no one has season 2,properly uploaded.I looked thru YT ...but on calling up season2 of the Fixer ...I ended up with many of 'Fixer Upper' Sorry about that.I was so disappointed when I saw what the 2nd guy did with season 2....I called him some names.

I forgot her name. She is so pretty and talented. She did the last two seasons of New tricks! I didn't think I would like her picking up on a well loved series, but she did a great job!

This episode seems way to early in the series. This is season two stuff. I liked the first 4 better. Hope number 6 is more my style.

I despise the anti revenge sentiment of this episode. There is nothing more justful about the law getting revenge over a loved one being involved with revenge. Loved ones are supposed to fight for and defend each other anything else is an inane social construct that is meaningless to natural selection and evolution.
