So in part 3 of the Flash costume tutorial, we start with a Captain America helmet, because why not mix Marvel and DC together right? I had to make this costume in a super hurry, so I ended up basically just repainting a Captain America helmet, and then making a red hood to wear under the helmet. The lighting bolts on the side are usually up a bit higher on the helmet, but since this was originally a Cap helmet, I found they looked better on the raised edges toward the bottom of the helmet. It's all a matter of preference.
It's been quite a while since that Captain America helmet was made, so I don't recall the exact link we got the PDO file from, but there is one here: www.therpf.com... you can download for it.
To finish the costume, I just added a pair of 2nd hand red gloves (not quite the same color as the rest of costume, but passable), and a 2nd hand pair of brown boots. I've found that boots generally take paint pretty well if you use paint and primer in one, so you can paint them red. I chose to leave mine brown because they're the same boots I use for my Jedi costume, so I didn't want to change their color.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Craft foam, EVA Foam, or cardstock for the original Captain America helmet
1 foot of stretchy red fabric (old turtlenecks work great for this)
2 large snaps
Small pieces of pellon and gold foil fabric (if you made the shirt, you probably already have enough left from that)
Scissors
Hot glue gun
