I honestly loved the film for what it was. Keaton and Afflecks Batman we’re both highlights for me and I’m looking forward to what we’ll see with the Brave and the Bold. Andy Muschietti nailed the Batman scenes

I was half expecting the post-credit scene to be something like Barry returns to his apartment, takes off his mask, and looks in a mirror only to discover he's been recast, i.e., he now looks like a different person. I figure either they haven't decided to recast yet or more likely haven't chosen a replacement. But imagine for a moment if he took off his mask and it turned out he now had Grant Gustin's face. Now that would have been an awesome cameo and payoff of the scene from Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Michael Keaton was dope as Batman, wish we would have gotten some Batmobile action. Plus the Superman cameo’s were a good touch as well, I wasn’t expecting to see Nicolas Cage or Clooney.

To me it seems how they plan to write Ezra out of future movies. He’s now stuck in an alternate timeline where Clooney is Batman. We know Clooney isn’t back as the main timeline Batman.

It's ok to be bummed out. However remember, like he said.. Flash was supposed to come out in 2018. Which was the year he appeared on CW Flash. CW is over. Sniderverse is over. The goal was to look foward, and with that in mind, I'm glad they cut Grant Guston. If you think about it, this movie is a 2 hour highlight of 9 seasons worth of story seasoned with nostalgia. So featuring the CW Flash would of highlighted how the CGI was on par with this movie, the stories were better than this movie, and got to do what it wanted instead of what it had to do. Either way the separation was for the best.

The one thing that I really like about this movie is what I hope other comic book movies will adapt. A bit similar to Infinity War the stakes are high, the heroes lose. You have to keep the audience on edge & give the villains their respect

I wanted the movie to focus on Keaton's Batman as soon as Barry entered that timeline. He is the GOAT and the director did him justice. He finally had full-fledged fight scenes.

I really liked the flash a lot. Some questionable CGI but doesn’t take you out of the movie. Solid 8/10…I will say that watching Ben Affleck’s Batman in this movie really makes me want a Ben Affleck Batman movie. His Batman was awesome in this film.

I just saw it this afternoon. I liked it. All of the performances were good. It was great to see Diana Prince early on in the film. The cameos were nice and somewhat surprising. I have to admit: Ezra Miller was excellent in the film, and he is the absolute centerpiece of the entire film, as good and excellent as Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle, and Ben Affleck are in it. I hope it does well at The Box Office.

I dont know if it was intentional or Andy M pulled a fast one on WB without them realising it... but when Barry explains to Batfleck he can travel back in time, Batfleck asks - like in Pozharnov? and Barry says yes, but that was only going back one second.. this happened in ZSJL and not in the Joss Wheadon version... how i have not heard about this on any channel or reviews yet? or am i missing something?

I loved this and I do think it was one of the best DCEU movies. Even though I'm not a fan of Ezra, if they were going for this particular personality of the Flash, it suits him. It was one of the few DC movies which were directed well and seemed homogenous. There was no dull moment, the stakes were good, and even the last act was good. The ending, although obvious to Flash fans, was satisfying. Cameos were extremely good

I thought this was gonna be horrid and that’s why they kept delaying it but I was surprised I liked it so glad how they handled the supergirl situation against Zod and his army (which was way bigger than the one he brought in man of steel!) kinda wish they expanded on the final boss more than the 8 min he got

The best easter egg that wasn't mentioned was when Younger Barry tried to look at Future Barry while they were suited up for the "final" battle. YB is wearing a modded Batman Returns suit and there is no articulation for the neck. This is a deep cut to real life complaints about the suit, but also to the Christopher Nolan Batman series where Lucious Fox helps Bruce design a suit because, "You want to be able to turn your head".

The movie was way better than I thought it would be I went in super skeptical, and stunned by how much I loved it i had fun as someone who seen the animated counterpart ( Flashpoint paradox ( this was surprisely good adaptation seeing all those cameo was so nice ,and nostalgic I would give it a solid 7.5/ 10 mostly because of the choppy pacing in the first half ,and CGi otherwise i think it was a good way to wrap up ,and put the final nail in the snyderverse, but in a respectful way too.

got to see the movie this afternoon. You're right, you could watch it a bunch more times sna keep seeing new things. I mentioned before that I laughed out loud when Nick Cage and his low cut super suit appeared and even louder when George Clooney appeared. I was great to see Michael Keaton again as Bruce/Batman, he's always been one of my favorites. Too bad we couldn't have had more of Affleck and Gal since I've enjoyed their iterations. Thank you for the explanation on the goofy way Ezra's Flash runs because I wondered about that.

in flash point paradox we learned Accept the things you cannot change. Have the courage to change the things you can and have wisdom to know the difference. in flash movie we learned not every problem has a solution, sometimes you have to learn to let it go, learn when to move on. don't live in the past

14:40 it’s also the same poster from Shawshank Redemption that Andy has in his cell that the warden puts his hand through finding Andy’s escape hole. I think the tooth falling out in the end is to show he didn’t fix the timeline and it’s still broken. In Back to the Future they only filmed scenes with Eric Stoltz cause Micheal J Fox wasn’t yet available due to his filming the Family Ties show. The producers told Zemeckis and Gale to start filming with Eric and if they can work out a deal with Fox then they wouldn’t be behind schedule and if he did become available they would pay for reshoots. The opening scene with the skateboard & walking through Doc Brown’s lab was just some person on set. It’s not actually Fox until you see him in the rubble. Superman didn’t give himself the name Clark Kent. He was adopted by Martha & Jonathan Kent who named him Clark which in some stories is Martha’s middle name. I had all those action figures from back in the day. I wish I still had them. 32:43 so she’s not just “weak” she’s “SUPER weak” (sorry couldn’t pass on that joke). 33:54 it’s not the Batwing they’re using they show it’s a Batkite when they first show around 1:33:00. Also Batman gives older Barry the suit to protect him from the lightning but older Barry says that would defeat the purpose of what he’s trying to do. Young Barry realizes that older Barry gets his powers back he will need his suit so young Barry needs a suit of his own so tries to impress older Barry by creating his own. 37:30 it’s not Teddy Sears playing the Flash. It’s actually film editor Jason Ballantine’s face put on the Flash. Sears said he wasn’t part of the film. I think his tooth falling out in the end was supposed to show that he didn’t fix the problem. I’m hoping James Gunn doesn’t kill DC. Not too happy with some of his changes so far.

The One Million Years BC movie poster appears to be referencing the example seen in Frank Darabont’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Shawshank Redemption. It hid the hole in the prison cell wall used to escape. This relates to Flash’s ability to pass through walls. Muschietti is pronounced ‘musˈkyeti’ not ‘mushyeti’.

The post credit scene Barry said Batman is always a different person on the different earths and then he said that author curry is always him ..saying Jason is always going to be aquaman …right before he falls out Barry was saying on one of the other earths there’s a different me “and aquaman falls out before he completes his thought ……don’t know if that’s recasting or if that can set up Wally west being the new flash

The tooth falling out is symbolising the fact he messed up the timeline again. I really didn't like the fact that even after he realised he needed to undo saving his mum, he goes and saves his dad instead.

It was probably because he felt that it is only changing the future from his present time (his father was still locked up for all those years prior). They made a point in the movie a couple of times that the recorded video was enhanced by new Wayne technology somehow. Even without Flash going back in time, that new video technology (whatever that is) did not affect the original video or the original case. He is changing the future, not the past.

As a big Batman fan while all my friends were Spiderman fans. This movie is so satisfactory after the Last Spider Man No way Home. I followed all Batman movies and watched the serial. Redemption for Batman came in the flash movie😅

43:00 The Aquaman being thrown in the water puddle is probably a reference from when the original Namor was tossed in the water to regain his memory by, Johnny Storm I believe. Slightly different comic Genre but I believe that is the reference, He will probably regain his powers/memory after being in it long enough like Namor. They might have done something similar in DC, though I did not read enough Aquaman comics to know said references. I recognized that plot when I watched the movie. In the comics Namor had no memories being away from the water for decades.

The Raquel Welch poster is a reference to The Shawshank Redemption. In that movie, Andy had a tunnel behind that poster. Here, Barry was able to walk through the wall at that poster.

Omg!totally different topic. I didn’t know who else to tell. Was just watching the Batman. I’ve of course watched it many many times. But I recently heard a rumor that one of, if not the main villain of the Batman 2 could be clayface. Keeping that in mind @ 21:44 left in the movie… I believe that will be our new Clayface. It’s a new world, everything is being reimagined with a twist. Had nowhere else to voice this. Thank you so much Emergency Awesome and Charlie specifically. Your the man. 🎉to ya!!

Still loved the film for what it was and with the whole multiverse It does look back on what the DCEU could have been if Warner Bros could’ve handled it a lot different, but seeing Michael Keaton and Sasha Calle’s Batman and supergirl for at least one movie in the DCEU , it was still a surreal experience and feeling tho

Barry wouldn't have known to look for him unless he and the league had worked together however if he was around, it's surprising he wouldn't have gotten involved. He may not have existed on that Earth as well.

8/10. Glad I didn’t let the tweets about the CGI in the movie deter me. Felt like a nice sendoff for the snyderverse. 3rd best DCU film. They managed to keep the big plot points of flashpoint paradox while adding enough original stuff to keep it interesting. Loved Super-Girl and I hope the rumours about a solo film for her are true. Sasha Calle was really good for it being her first film. So cool to see Michael Keaton’s Batman again and it really felt like a good conclusion for his character arc after 30 years. Has its corny moments, as you’d expect from a Flash movie, but also some genuinely hilarious moments that had my theater dying of laughter. Action scenes weren’t as good as a Snyder film, and I wasn’t a huge fan of the flash slow mo sequences which were pretty important set pieces. But the story and Barry’s character development were good enough for me to overlook it. Some genuinely emotionally scenes. Good. But not good enough to make us forget about Ezra Millers actions.

One minor issue I have with the movie's concept of Flash, is that anyone can (seemingly) gain these powers. Since Batman helps him recreate the incident, all I kept thinking was what is preventing him from recreating it for himself

Second time watching today and my opinion rose from liking it to actually slightly loving it! It's actually a really fun and crazy movie that has some effective emotional beats at the end. Miller redeems himself from an annoying character in JL.

Ezra may have some issues, which I know is oversimplified, but he plays a great Flash. I love Grant too. But I hope they keep Ezra for the future of the DCU. Great movie overall.
