This is based of flashpoint paradox and in flashpoint paradox(spoilers ahead continue with caution) Barry went back in time and saved his mother completely messing everything up and in their he isn't the flash and in fact their is no flash when he goes back in time and saves his mother it prevented anything that could have made him the flash

Barry grew up with iris and Joe before the paradox. Now that his mom didn't die and his dad didn't go to jail they only saw each other in school. Also Barry is 26 so from high school its been 9 years since they've seen one another. They know of Barry but not even close to how they did before

I get the impression that they were friends as children possibly, but when Barry stayed with his parents they drifted apart. Iris and Joe probably haven't seen Barry in over ten years, and suddenly he waltzes into their lives claiming to know everything about them? Yeah that just screams "stalker" to me, no wonder Joe is all but hostile with Barry.

i think the flash movie will be flashpoint or the 2nd one and have bruce's dad as batman and her mom as joker.. i think thats why they cast big name actors in bvs to play bruce's parents.

Judging from how season two ended and the way this trailer is done, it is probably safe to say that the creators will be following "The Flashpoint Paradox" story arc. I liked the animated movie and am looking forward to seeing how it will be done in live-action format.
