It wasn’t all that easy to convince Orlin Dwyer not to ruin the metahuman society, they only did it because they had enough arguments to convince him, grace on the other hand was only able to be convinced when she wasn’t corrupted and evil yet.

Yep. The dagger shit was so stupid with cicada too. If Godspeed is from the future, nothing they do now can stop him in the future. Well, that’s how it was explained with RF. Eric Wallace ruined this show. It used to be so good. Now absolutely nothing makes sense. I could go on and on about lost plot points. They set up shit with Kaitlin’s mom turning into a meta and then nothing. The entire time sickness shit. Iris is the worst character even written. Has Lois lane ever told Clark “you’re not Superman, we are Superman?” So fucking stupid.

who even wants to watch a final season without wells, or tom as reverse flash? No Cisco, no Wells, still no hearing if Eobard's original actor (aka b4 he body-snatched to be a wells essentially) coming back. It's got to full circle at some point to have a proper ending. While I agree the character has been overused, a final season (hopefully it is cause S5 and S7 already crapped all over this show and knowing they are keeping multiple crappy characters on don't see S8 being too good either) needs to have reverse flash be important.

@@albertsports2272 while we don't know 100%, there has been zero talk known if Grant Gustin's contract was renewed past Season 8. We knew before S6 it had been renewed to 8, but no word since then. It's reasonable to assume also, given other's contracts having been up and many of the other arrowverse shows basically all ending or very likely going too very soon.

The running scenes are horrible in the newer seasons.They ruined it from the earlier seasons like in s1-3 where speedsters would zip around the city with aerial shots and lightning behind them. Now instead its just them running in a straight line to the camera, with no other shots. The sets are also boring as its like an obvious green screen of a generic city which makes the speedsters look like they’re running pretty slow

Remember Nora Darhk is so overpowered witch she can easily close team in a tv show ( like 3 fates ) turning Gary into toy train, avalance into puppets, Nate Heywood into the sun creating rules of Mr Parker's Culdesac.

Love how each season has its own villain arc. Season 1 Eobard/Reverse Flash, 2 Jay Garrick/Zoom, 3 Savitar (timeremnant of Barry who felt used), 4 Clifford Devoe, 5 Cicada (the only unfunny character from American Pie), 6 Bloodwork, 7 Eobard Thawne/ Reverse Flash. Still on Season 5 but Season 8 will b dope. I'm glad I gave this show a chance with the other Arrowverse shows. I only used to watch Gotham and Smallville.

The crossover event itself might be atleast decent. What truely speaks to the quality of the show is the entire season. Crossovers are almost written like miniseries within the main series; their plots and writing can be a few steps removed from the rest of the series, which means the crossover doesn't have to carry over most of the overall faults of the show. I wouldn't be surprised if the crossover went well enough, but the rest of the season ends up being a mess. I think the reason why they decided to introduce us to the season with the crossover is simply to add fuel to our expectations, because atleast for the Flash, ratings and views have been dropping overall during the past few years.

But she's not really. Not sure what purpose she serves here, although I am interested in seeing her back, but her show was cancelled, so nothing really to connect her to the shows except canon. Maybe it'll tie up loose ends regarding her character from her last appearance.

Supergirl just ended but I would be nice to see her in these upcoming crossover events , she is an essential member to the arrow verse heros , and she really contributes a lot , and then through her she can bring in the help of dreamer , Martian Manhunter ,Lena Luthor , sentinel ,m'gann moors and even maby the deo , her team are some of the most powerful allies out their , and many she could even bring in superman too, combined with the other heros they have some heavy artillery going their

It wasn't your typical this might be a spinoff episode but legit looked like it was a prologue episode to an actual series. nah its a response to how he was jacked last season and noone mentioned it because of the SJW's like Candice (Iris) backstage. Yeah she is a bitch IRL too. Grant wants to leave when his contract expired because of her. Long story short, since season 1 she has been out to get Danielle sacked (Kate) because fo the SnowBarry shippers, going so far as to call Danielle racist on twitter for thinking its cute and any shippers "retarded white man-babies and racist trolls in their mom's basements." Grant has said he isnt renewing his contract unless things change, this looks like a step towards getting him to stay. Ironically the back stage politics are 100x more interesting than the show.

I remember wanting to see the time line come full circle and Barry goes back to the night his mother is killed and he rescues his younger self from Reverse Flash. Could that still happen now though? The only Thawne we've seen is the one whose already tried it and failed. We still haven't seen Thawne when he first learns Barry's name, and then makes the decision to try and kill young Barry in the past.

Given the Pandemic production troubles, it kind of didn’t. It was the last three episodes of season 6, plus season 7 content, PLUS getting shut down several weeks in the beginning due to ANOTHER COVID outbreak, it’s a miracle S7 came together at all.

Tony Curran is a great actor. First saw him (or rather didn’t see him) in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, then in Underworld: Evolution. He also played Van Gogh in a Doctor Who episode and an alien crime lord named Datak Tarr in Defiance (interestingly, the actor who played his son Alak Tarr currently plays Brainy on Supergirl)

And then there was Cisco leaving, but look, he's back (*for a while, wink, wink) and are they ever going to make Chester into Chunk? I mean, not that they have to, but why give him that name?

Every season since 4 has sucked. It gets worse every year and somehow there is no consequences. Everyone in the writing room keeps their jobs. Why? This past season was garbage. Now they don’t fight. They just have a stern talking to every single villain and they stop being bad. Good god this shit is ridiculous

Season 7 wasn't good, but it would have been filmed at the height of covid restrictions which changed sometimes daily. I'm sure they played a role in some of the lack of fight scenes and characters disappearing for chunks at a time. Not to mention however many backstage crew and writers could have been out sick or working in isolation. 2020/2021 was filled with crazy.

they tried to but in testing it didnt score enough points to pickup the greenlight, look into Green Arrow the canaries. That episode about her in the last season of arrow was meant to be a backdoor pilot.
