About The Flash:
Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

This was essentially taught in the flashpoint film years ago, where instead of a sonic boom, the further Barry went back in time, a time boom would occur and mess up history completely. That still remains to be the best flash film.

YES !!! Finally ! This is how to explain time travel ! (It also helps that it is Batman explaining it) It is confusing, but not too confusing It is simple, but not too simple It makes sences, but not too much sense It is accurate to the movie And it DOES NOT put flash's ZSJL time traveling out of cannon. It is amazing . "Time is non linear" Amazing ! And I LOVE spaghetti !!!

There's different versions on how it works kid. There is no Canon version since it's theoretically impossible. Now if you say he explained it better than fair but saying its more accurate is a pure lie since there's no proven version.. P.S. Back to Future and Terminator explains it better than both of these movies too

In a deleted scene Flash comes to the conclusion that this Batman has looked into the idea of time travel to preventing his parents death and that’s maybe that’s why he’s helping him.

Well it kinda makes sense. For instance time flows from past to future. When one goes back to change a moment in the past, it also means your changing the future. Basically youve gone to a different timline that was already been established before, not by you (or maybe by you). Because in scientific terms "Same matter cant occupy the same space" Meaning if the same matter of you go back to the past to your past self (still the same matter) on the same time line youve traveled, it cant occupy the same space and causes a paradox which cancels out both matters and destroy space and reality. So instead as the multiverse keep the stability of all things from going to destruction, time travel is now only multiversal travel because of probability, possibility, and the choices that we made even, and the ones we didnt choose.

some points or incidents r fixed in timeline like Barry mother death, every universe has alfred as batman companion. etc.. changing a fixed point can break universe .... in dc if u change anything i think it won't create any branch timeline... changing a past incident will create a whole new timeline with new future and past ... in this movie there are many loopholes ... as per my assumption old barry saved his mom (Fixed point ) break his present timeline and create a new timeline where he is the creator of dark flash .. so that way his original timeline DCEU completely erased ... if he try hard to find his original timeline he can create so many timeline with endless possibility that will create a mess just like keaton explained HOT MESS bcoz barry is the Fulcrum
